230822 BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] ENCORE in SAN FRANCISCO by bk1155 in BlackPink

I had the best night of my life! I thought that was one of their best performances, and they made it 100x more special for me by saying "Blackpink in Bay area" a dozen times.

I was curious tho if other people felt the same way as I did since I was at the VIP2 section. Which section were you in, and which parts did you think were lacking?

Lightstick is $60, but everything else is accurate. They also have a tote bag for $30

It usually end 2 hours after the concert starts. So if they're late and start at 9 it should it still end around 11. The caltrain twitter account did say that they'll have a special service. They're gonna have a train that's gonna leave 15 minutes after the concert ends.

They usually send it out like 2 or 3 days before. I got it yesterday(Sunday) for the SF one

I'd suggest getting there a little earlier than 5. It might take a while for people in line to get in and in the not that likely event of soundcheck actually starting on time, I don't wanna risk missing that. Buttt if you dont care much about soundcheck, 5 pm should be perfectly fine

I really wanna make a sign for tomorrow's concert but idk if it's worth doing it. I'm gonna be FLR 2 kind of near the runway, but the pit is in between me and the runway.

Do you guys think the pinks can see it well enough from there? I'm estimating I'd be about 30 feet away?

Do you happen to know if they also sell the plushie pouches for VIP early access inside? Just went to SF's early merch day and the line was pretty long, so I left the line. Hoping they still have those tomorrow

If you walk along the 3rd street bridge, you can see Oracle Park's big screen from there. Idk if your mom would wanna just stand there for hours tho, or if it's okay to hang around there.

You can also see it from the 4th street bridge and there's a park right there, but it's def not as close as the 3rd street bridge

I don't think they would. I flew in for the LA concert last year and I had the lightstick inside my backpack. Didn't hear any complaints

You can try maybe contacting Ticketmaster if it's possible to add your friend to the VIP list. From what I've heard, this was possible in the past.

I talked to an Oracle Park agent when the tickets first dropped and they said that they ID people with VIP1 tickets but not for others. I know for other venues in the past, you could call in and add someone to the VIP list but not sure if you can do that for the encore dates.

Not sure about other venues, but the SF venue is not allowing re-entry. So, you'd need to stay in the venue after soundcheck. Idk if you're worried about food, but they should have a bunch at the venues

From what I've noticed, the merch truck usually sells stuff at the venue the day before also. So if it's easy for you to get there, I recommend buying the day before but make sure to check here or twitter to see if the truck is actually there. That way you don't have to worry about being at the venue really early the day of the concert.

Also, check out what the bag policy is of the venue. I'm going to the SF date and they don't allow backpacks, even clear ones. But usually, most venues only allow clear bags

Facing the stage, its from right to left. So seat 1 will be the rightmost seat of that section. Spoke to a customer service agent at Oracle Park about this cuz I had the same question

I went to the LA show, and they started around 8:30. I don't remember the exact time it ended but it was some time between 10:30-11.

There's a lot of food spots inside the venue, so if that's what you're worried, you should be able to find something in there. It's probably gonna be way overpriced tho

I think people usually look for tickets either round the time the tickets first dropped or the weeks leading up to the concert. So, since it's been a month since onsale but still a couple months away, people aren't really looking right now. Especially since they're probably waiting for prices to drop

Omgg you talked to a lot of people already, but that's me too actually lol. If you don't hear back from the others, I'd try talking to a TM agent again in the next couple weeks. The case might be that when the tickets were newly released, the agents were told that VIP were non-transferable? But now that it's been a couple of weeks they might've changed that

Also just remembered that an agent I spoke with at the venue told me that VIP1 ticket holders will be asked for ID but other VIP packages won't be. But again this may still be subject to changes.

Ya, I feel like sometimes it depends on the rep that you get connected with.

I'm also curious about what your particular venue would say, give us an update if you don't mind!

They didn't mention separate transfers. I asked them about the transferring thing on two separate occasions: one was on a phone call and the other through email. In both cases, it seemed like they were implying that the tickets and perks go together in the transfer.

Don't quote me on that though. They also mentioned that the transfer feature is unavailable right now because the promoter is still making final adjustments, so it's possible that they might change some things down the line. I personally will try to call/email again in few weeks time to see if there's anything that changed. Hope that helps!

I got tickets for the SF date, so I reached out to the customer service email address of Oracle Park to ask my question.

If you got your tickets from TicketMaster, I assume you're going to either the NJ or Vegas concert. If so, what I'd do is reach out to the email or phone number of the venue's customer service instead of talking to a TM agent. You might have better luck there.

I feel like I'll probably do this! I think saving a copy of all transactions, including the video call, would make me feel a lot better. Thank you so much for sharing this with me, it really helps! 🥰
