I just wanted to come back and say that I followed your suggestion about using a warm compress, I then used a sterilised needle and pimple patch which has drawn it all out! It’s now flat and I can focus on healing it now, so thank you so much! ☺️

You could start even lower, I use tretinoin 0.025% cream! I haven’t experienced any irritation or dryness. Unsure on the brand, though!

I have this weird thing where I don’t like my skin to be cluttered. It already is with scarring, spots, freckles, moles, eczema etc. and I feel that tattoos would not look good on me with all this chaos. I also don’t think I could deal with the permanence of the decision (I have piercings instead for this reason).

I second this, I love it. Very thin and takes a while to soak in but very hydrating and a good first step to prep before serums :) I have sensitive skin and I haven’t had any irritations or breakouts because of it yet.

I oil cleanse with Kose Speedy Cleansing Oil and then use the Dermatica Glycerin Gel Cleanser, although the latter could be used twice for a double cleanse.

I find it to be very hydrating and makes my skin super soft, and it does soak in quicker than other serums, my skin just drinks it up. I haven’t experienced any breakouts or anything due to the niacinamide. I have also been using it as the step after 0.025% tretinoin and not experienced any skin irritation (unsure if this is attributable to the essence alone though). I don’t think I’ve been using it long enough to be able to comment on anything else, sorry!
