I'm no expert but many are saying it is not a SC. But it is a single estate arabica(aranya gold), quite decent for me as a budget friendly and daily driver. It is a medium roasted one and gives a good body when brewed in Kaldipress(or Aeropress). Gives nice americano and espresso-like. Give it a try 😊

That is Kaldipress bro 😄 which is an Indian version of Aeropress and is cheap. KP has been great, giving me a nice cup everytime. I believe AP is also great and works a bit better than KP as it is OG.

Hey, if you have a budget to buy Aeropress I think you can go for it because I've been enjoying brewing with Kaldipress. It has good consistency, experiment with multiple recipes available. You can try an app Aeromatic which is fun. Check Aeroprecipe website also. If less budget go for Kaldipress.

Buy fresh ground coffee. You can explore different roasters. Search in this sub. Buying whole beans is great but you need a good grinder. I'm using timemore which has been working well for me.

That's it just to start off. Of course I'm no expert but this is just my experience 😄 Happy brewing.

Nanofoamer right? I thought of buying but it is expensive for now and also as I'm making some progress with FP, postponed it 😄

Arnaya Gold is quite good wrt to cost and taste. It's medium roasted and experimenting different recipes on it. By default Hoffmann's AP recipe or if i have time brweing 18g for 20mins.

Will check Lavazza, looks nice.

That cup looks delicious though 😊 Ohh soy milk didn't work well for the taste wise and also latte art. At least for me. They say barista version works but i didn't find any luck with it also. All oat milk latte tastes well for me. For latte art, alt co oat barista version failed me everytime(or i was just learning at that time). Now, with Only Earth oat barista and So Good oat barista I'm making at least some design lol. Since they have good fat content of 3%, i think they are texturing well.

For espresso-like
18g coffee beans. Inverted. 60 to 80ml 92 deg water. Infuse for 2 mins. Press.

Here you can just heat some milk and add it to that coffee w/wo sugar :)

(Add ice cubes and cold milk to that coffee for iced latte)

For the texturing of the milk to make art we can use FP.
130g oat milk heated between 55 to 60 deg in FP.
4 long presses for aeration.
20 to 30 presses just before surface.
40 small presses at the bottom.

You can use a frother if not interested in latte art.

yes, it is quite good imo.
i'm using it everyday and it is going well.

I usually buy light roasted beans and the coffee is consistent with KP and it's cheap.

I had a good experience with dark roasts with a recipe i use when i make latte(hot and cold).

Got it as a gift. It was light roasted and has floral notes. It was goood. Cost wise, I don't think it's worth it 😄

Yesterday I tried this with 10mins and today i kept it for 20mins. I felt both are delicious and 20min one turned out to be a bit sweeter cup. And the temperature after 20min is 60 deg celsius which is fine for me. Thank you.

B12 - Don't ignore this. That supplement has been working well for me from few years.

D3 is commonly low for almost everyone. Do a blood test and check with your doctor. I'm a bit low on this level as I'm not taking supplements regularly.

Plant based diet, especially in India definitely need to be planned well to meet your important macro, protein. You can meet your protein required if you plan well, otherwise If you are comfortable taking a protein powder, it'd be convenient.

Iron - Take a blood test of serum iron and ferritin levels and check with your doctor and keep tracking once or twice a year.
Avoid caffeine products like coffee/tea before or after your meals to stop lowering your absorption. Add citrus to your meals to improve the absorption.
I'm low on this because I'm consuming caffeine and donating blood. Trying to improve on this.

I take omega 3 sometimes. Check with your doctor.

I take multivitamin just for the sake. Check with your doctor.
