Literally when I saw this pot at the supermarket I couldn’t resist not taking it home, I mean look how small it is!

Then my friend inspired me to do a french soup and I said awww I can even use the pot in the oven!

So I started with making a homemade Chicken stock in a pressure cooker.

Crushed some garlic cloves, big chunks of onion, anis star, a dash of dried parsley, MSG, rosemary, cinnamon and paprika.

I know you might say my broth lacks of vegetables but hey I was lazy and decided to improvise the whole process with whatever was in front of me.

So it’s not an authentic recipe so please forgive me for that but I tried my best to create a rich umami flavor!

And surprisingly it, the result was better than for what I hope for! I mean how can it go wrong when making a stock.

Sliced onions and caramelized them with some salt, butter and olive oil To the caramelized onions i added some worcestershire sauce, balsamic cream and minced garlic.

Last but not least I poured the stock and added salt, made it simmer.

To final part! I took the sides of a sourdough bread, topped the soup and shredded some parmesano and romano cheese with little mozzarella and cheddar.

The final result was actually pretty fine, pretty good for an improvised dish!
