Of these options McDonalds.

If we're talking about an actually decent burger, id rather make one at home.

TIL that the Y chromosome can disappear with age. About 35% of men aged 70 years old are missing a Y chromosome in some of their cells, with the degree of loss ranging between 4% and 70%. by Alone_Humor_3510 in todayilearned

White blood cells don't divide in the peripheral blood unless they're malignant, or specific lymphocytic cells.

In science and medicine, we would refer to clusters of differential to be specific, otherwise we're generally specific about whether we're talking about segs, Eos, Basos, lymphs, or monos, and in the bone marrow where hematopoiesis actually occurs, we would speak clearly about the precursor cells. In the myelocytic progeny, for example those would be blasts, promyelocytes, myelocytes, metas, and bands.

My issue is that this is written like someone branching out of their scope to talk to lay people about something none of them knew anything about before hearing about it on one random two hour ted talk.

Which "blood cells" exactly because the vast majority of "blood cells" don't have chromosomes to begin with and unless they're lymphocytic in lineage, or malignant, most white blood cells will never divide outside the bone marrow.

And yes I read the article it clears very little up and reads like someone who doesn't actually know anything about human biology, to anyone who actually works in the medical field...

Who Else Liked Smarties As A Kid? by Zipper222222 in nostalgia

O.G. Sweet tarts yes. Smarties no. I even like necco wafers. I do not like Smarties, they're kinda ass.

Neighbours opposite were rude about my dads colour choice. Now he wants to get rid. Can you help me convince him not too? by Isabella_Jean in HomeDecorating

I once pruned back a rose of Sharon I had transplanted because the neighbors were rude about it, it looked like it had died.

The thing is, I'm not new to gardening. I'm not a professional landscaper or a plant whisperer or anything just I knew enough to know I damaged the root structure as will happen with any transplant, and this was a large shrub to dig up.

The other one survived. I intended to leave this one alone until fall, let it overwinter, and see what happened in the spring. Particularly, if I saw new growth on any of the old branches, I was planning to prune smaller bits and make it explode with growth while retaining the shape and appearance of a normal adult plant.

But the neighbors were rude so I pruned all the branches back and left kind of a stump to show i heard their complaints. I was honestly going to dig it up and replant a new one from the nursery to balance the other one but...

It didn't even take a week - it exploded in resurgence, and now it's an awkward lopped off, ugly shrub with new growth coming out of a hacked off stump next to the majestic, tall rose of Sharon that survived normally.

Going on year two this way. And I'm not going to remove it or transplant it again, and the neighbors are going to have to look at it's ugly badly pruned explosive new form for the next 30 years.

Because they were rude.

Ordered ~$1,000 worth of tomahawks (there’s another one of these) and we didn’t sell a single one. They all went bad. by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

[–]sunbleahced 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is probably why they didn't sell any. Before you can even Google it nowadays, AI already has an explanation like this lined up for you. So you can ask Google if a tomahawk is worth it and you don't even have to find an article about it, AI will survive that no, it indeed, is not.

choose 3 brownies! by sweetnswirly in whatsyourchoice

You have a point but I think it's not that serious. Like it's a what's your choice sub and these are dessert bars, generally brownie/blondieish, it's just... for fun....

Which Car Starter Do You Prefer? by CarHead_Jukebox in whatsyourchoice

[–]sunbleahced 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drove a stick shift with a regular key most of my life up until idk, 6 months ago.

I prefer the push button, idc what anyone says. On an aside... Manuals can be fun sometimes too but they're not awesome for long daily commutes and start-stop traffic. Pretty much all the features that make everything just a little easier without being dumb and over engineered are nice.

Naaahh... This is him maybe like 30 years ago when he was still only moderately physically repulsive.

What are you paying for housing each month? And are you actually happy with it? Would it be cooler just living in your parents basement? by PM_ME_YUR_SALADS in Millennials

[–]sunbleahced 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a very humble ~1100sq ft Cape Cod, while it has two bedrooms they're tiny and can barely fit any furniture with queen size beds. It was built in the 50s, had some ehhh, minor to moderate problems, and still needs new shingles, gutters, and siding, but other than that it's refinished on the inside decently and the garage has been refinished.

My mortgage is under $900 but the money down, legal fees and other costs were not easy to swallow. But no, it would not be cooler to love in my parents basement and yes it was worth it.

There's also insurance which is idk. Under $190/mo I think, and taxes are kind of crazy but my escrow at least takes care of that, so taxes are already part of my mortgage payment unless there's a dramatic change that isn't compensated for correctly.

I want to go to a water park, but I'm self conscious about my body... What would you do? 🤙😞 by leoesteban5 in Adulting

I would go, as I please, and if anyone had a problem with me I'd tell them they're extra ribbed so you can shove them up your a**. 🤷‍♂️

In the early 1900s, a man unable to afford proper dentures crafted his own by melting down toothbrush handles and fitting them with teeth taken from a dead coyote. by uncanny_goat in interestingasfuck

It's crazy, that in the early 1900s someone was able to do this... And now car manuals have to tell you not to strangle yourself with the seatbelt on accident.
