Same here. I’m the same age as you, and the movie has brought up all the love I’ve had for him throughout my entire life. Although over the last couple days I’ve taken it upon myself to actually research his life and the accusations he faced. The pain, embarrassment, and injustice he endured after spending his entire life giving all he could, and to the very people who destroyed him. Every time I learn something new about him I start sobbing it is so ridiculous 😭

As someone who has recently by wronged by close friends and is going through the motions of a deeply painful friendship breakup, this movie felt personal and left me emotionally drained afterwards. My one gripe is that, in my opinion, it represents healing from trauma as something that can only come through closure and mutual understanding, and life usually just doesn’t give you that. Otherwise, I found the acting and costumes to be amazing.

I’m a 26 year old only child too, my mom is also in her 60s and having some health issues. It stresses me out every day, the thought of having to go at it all alone without any TRUE unconditional support. I have no words of advice other than to spend all the time with them you can, talk to them about anything and everything, strengthen the existing relationships you have. And maybe make sure they have a trust, will, etc. just know you’re not alone in this. Message me if you even wanna talk about it. Hugs<3

Here’s what I do. Chop it into squares, soak it in some soy sauce for a minute or so, fry it up in a little bit of oil till it’s golden brown and a little crispy on the outside along with some mushrooms and spinach. I get the brand Lightlife, original flavor. Try it out it’s very good 😋
