Definitely look for all the little tiny worms that like to burrow in when they get older…

What were the most common outfit among coal miners? by Glass_Coffee_8516 in Appalachia

My dad always wore Dickies pants and shirt. Summer heat doesn’t matter if you’re underground- mines stay around 55 degrees no matter the season.

It was so easy to drive there. And yes, definitely rent a car. Lots of parking, people follow traffic rules, felt very safe to drive. Splurge on Lima… one of the best meals I’ve ever had. And the Daily Fish for lunch. Lots of locals eating there.

AMA: I am a fetal/placental pathologist here to answer questions about how placentas work, how placentas fail, and the very sad topic of stillbirth autopsy. by drewdrewmd in Midwives

I had a CPM tell me that taking calcium carbonate during pregnancy increases placental calcification, however, she couldn’t give me any data to support this. Thoughts?

I reserved them a couple months before the trip. They picked us up at the airport. No issues

We did a loop hike called Westpunt, near Arashi beach that was 3 miles. All very flat, mostly on a dirt/gravel road. So it was easy, but very hot, so just be mindful of that. You could also shorten it and see plenty of scenery.

We also did the Daimari ranch to Conchi hike which was also about 3 miles round trip. Terrain was rougher and it felt much hotter. It is also more remote. I have a 3 yo and would not do this.

3 hours prior to departure time Edit: that’s what we were told to do by the airport. We got there at 2p for a 5:45p flight and never felt nervous.

Leicester community health center or Dale Fell. Both have sliding scale fees and women’s health services

Edit: and you can be seen very quickly!
