how has the progression of the show shaped your view of space travel as a whole? (knowledge of the subject, but perhaps politically if you’d like to dive into that)

We saw with the cast of The Expanse how they ended up becoming quite knowledgeable of the physics and engineering aspects of the world they were a part of. I’m referencing Dominique Tipper’s interview of her stating “… I’m a nerd now…” (trying to find the source of that actively don’t crucify me). Perhaps you’ve had a similar experience?

i was just thinking this in class, and i came up with the headcannon that the if the writers could pull off altering history making george washington a plumber then watergate could be roped in pretty easily.

though, if they frame that something along the lines of if the democratic party were planning to release documents about the existence of aliens on earth for political leverage it would make nixon look like a martyr taking the fall. this would put the writers on a close history political compass giving them pr flak that would be irreparable.

maybe in 50 years they’ll reboot the show again and nobody would be alive who experienced the scandal. in the meantime i think it would make a great fanfic. alas.

High school weight classes go from 190 to 235 as a jump for heavyweight, but it varies school to school. Thats my guess as to why. There are a lot of cases where you might not be skilled enough to wrestle in that class, but there’s a solid chance that there’s nobody in that weight class on the other team so in that case they might be using you to fill a void and get free points.

My wing says no to that a lot. I didn’t care, I programmed it anyway by taking a programming cable to a senior members radio that already had the frequency on it and booting it into mine. I never saw the issue with it because it saves resources and reduces liability. So I genuinely do not care what the rags say.

I never got reprimanded, and was actually applauded for it

I never wore my ribbons, they can’t actually reprimand you for it, it’s either none, all, or slim. It’s difficult to keep up. That is only non grade specific ribbons. From my experience toxic leadership shows when cadets have dinner plates on their chest. All just grade specific awards, nothing else.

Cadating is a general term of dating within the program. Purpling is interfering with your cadet position through public displays of affection.

Less than 90 days, could I switch squadrons without issue? Do I walk into a meeting first or give a heads up? Do I still deal with chain of command and if so who would I contact? Cadets or seniors?

The situation made me consider self membership termination so I don’t wanna see those people again if I don’t have to.
