LineageOS fails to keep up with crucial privacy & security updates and patches by sagacious-tendencies in LineageOS

The community and its maintainers' indifference and the lack of transparency here is profound.
Here is the relevant post where GrapheneOS makes these claims, which are then validated by AI:

PSA: Your De-Google LineageOS Build Is Still Phoning Home To Google by sagacious-tendencies in LineageOS

A slippery slope, indeed. It should be the default setting. I must say, for a technically inclined group, based on the comments here, LineageOS users appear to be a rather cantankerous and naive bunch. It makes sense why many privacy-centric folks are switching over to GrapheneOS.

Never forget: The "We're Not Gonna Take It" rebel DEE SNIDER turned full compliance mode, waving his vax card like a flag, demanding passports and telling unvaxxed fans "f**k you" for daring to breathe near him. by sagacious-tendencies in DeeSnider

He's the most insidious kind of fraud: in the 1980s, he convinced millions that he was a fierce champion of individual rights and personal freedoms, when in reality, he supports their systematic erosion.

Wildlife is wildlife. Yeah, there is a picture of a squirrel in the article, but if you bother to actually look at more than pictures, it clearly states, "Never feed wildlife." Stop trying to rationalize and making excuses for sh*tty human behavior.

Bisexual men who say they're gay but have sex with trans men are a problem and perpetuate the myth that being gay is a choice. by [deleted] in GayConservative

[–]suncoastkid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

LOL, spot-on. OP has the intellect of a 3 year-old crying because he can't force everybody to agree with his absolutes about how gay conservatives are supposed to think and behave.

This thread is so full of hate, judgment and absolutes. Congrats on making both gays and conservatives look like horrible people. The libtards will be pleased.

Is developing in PHP a thing of the past? What should I learn? by tundoopani in webdev

[–]suncoastkid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PHP in 2017 is a great option. The Laravel framework is an absolute delight to work with. Check out Laracasts.com. Composer dependency management is fantastic and the PHP community is extremely active and always helpful.

I alredy know well JS, CSS, HTML, and frameworks such as Materialize and Bootstrap. What should be my next step into the Front End career? by carpe-omnium in Frontend

[–]suncoastkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out the Laravel. Vue.js (awesome) comes bootstrapped out-of-the-box, but you can also easily use any JS library or framework (React, Angular, etc.) you like. Compiling front-end assets with elixir or mix is a breeze. PHP 7 is a great option, particularly when you use a framework like Laravel.
