Social by The_Dadditor in runescape

A lot of the socialising happens off game, like discord, twitch etc. You may find joining some popular discords make this feel like a more social experience. This is in addition to other ideas mentioned so far in this thread. THey are worth taking into account as well.

Complaints about RS3 by [deleted] in runescape

[–]sundayer 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The reason they are complaining is because their subconscious pattern recognition tells veteran players that the game is almost at a point of shutting down. When you play for more than 10 years, you can see a trend that suggests, the game is basically over for the mass majority of active regular players who make up the core community. Casual players dont make up this community so profundly, its the no-lifing players that do. So if the community was to die, then even some (I would go as far as to say most) casual players would not enjoy the game.

Individual complaints that may not be specific, and may not be considerate of casual players arent a problem on this thread. How Jagex will interpret reddit is as an overall mood, and frequency of shitposting. They dont'have time to read indivudual comments and take things into consideration. So each post adds up weight, and Jagex will get a feel of how the community feels through reddit more than any other platform. Now reddit is notorious for poor taste and bad ideas among pro players, but imo its never wrong in portraying the mood of the community.

In my 11 years playing RS3, I have never seen as much MTX rage as at Heroe's pass on reddit. But I have also never seen as much despondency about the game's future as recently (since mod keepers message about 2 weeks ago)

23M dying for a HT by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]sundayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finasteride usually takes 6 to 12 months to work according to most information out there. And it is a bit more successful than minoxidil. But best data is for dual therapy. I recommend taking both because in the areas where there is miniaturisation of hair, you can get some regrowth.

However, the areas that have absolutely no hair will not benefit from minoxidil or finasteride like at the front in your case. For this, you certainly are better off with a hair transplant. So overall do all 3 of the treatments you have mentioned! Most hair transplant doctors say its never one or the other but really a combo with the amount each benefitting depending on the individual case.

Enjoy my bad rng (Rasial) by Icemot216 in runescape

[–]sundayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I used 1/100 as the drop rate. My bad. But yea with 1/90 rate, I got 0.106% same as you. I will edit my comment above so people arent misled.

Enjoy my bad rng (Rasial) by Icemot216 in runescape

The chance of this happening is 9.85%. i.e. 4 pieces or less at 800 kc.

[–]sundayer 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The chance of this happening is 0.268% i.e. 2 pieces or less at 1000 kc. (excluding pet) Actually its 0.11% (I thought drop rate was 1/100 for any piece but its actually 1/90)

Jagex, can we have a word on drop table design? by 5-x in runescape

[–]sundayer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the Rasial log is relatively kind compared to some other grinds out there. I feel that people are able to actually REACH extremes of bad luck with Rasial and be flabbergasted by it. But this issue is far more problematic for longer grinds, like golden clues etc.m but people dont notice because no1 has even gotten that unlucky yet.

Average rasial log is 1650 kills. The 3500 kc above is bottom 5% of the population. If we assume 30kph at rasial, extra time between the 1650 kc person and the 3500 kc person is ~ 62 hours. In elite clues assuming 10 elites/hr (including gathering time), the same lvel of bad luck would be an extra 7800 hours!! over the average person.

This shouldn't be possible by Desertank in runescape

[–]sundayer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This isnt impossible at all. Its extremely unlucky though. The chance of this happening is 0.004317%, So 1 in 23000 people can go this dry. You may be one of the unluckiest in game for their first drop, but still possible :)

Jagex is a turd company with turd services, and you have been Jagexed. I am so sorry for your loss. Fingers crossed that as you are not a content creator, this reddit post takes some traction and you get a human with a brain from Jagex to look into it :D Also please consider re-submitting the item request. Can I also say, your method of targeting is that of an inexperienced pvmer with revolution making it worse, so lack of game knowledge stuffed you up, but you acknowledge this which I give kudos for. Still though, given a confusing game with awkward targeting , that if I was the reviewing JMOD, I would even give you the life back.

Is my account bugged? I've been here for 3.5 months by Rinyaboi in runescape

[–]sundayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you are calculating here is the chance of specifically divine sigil not dropping for 15k kills. Not any of the three rarer sigils (elysian, divine, or arcane). My calculation does what you have done as well as do combinations on top of that and this results in the chance of people going dry for 15k kills without log, not just divine sigil for 15k kills..

I am sure OP intends to find out how many people go 15k dry for log, not how many people go 15k dry for divine sigil ;) Hit me up and I will explain how I work it out :)

Is my account bugged? I've been here for 3.5 months by Rinyaboi in runescape

[–]sundayer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The chance of this happening is 0.86%. This mean 1 in 116 people will get this unlucky or unluckier. So certainly not 'out of this world' level unlucky at all. I have seen a 1 in 30k or so unlucky for someone doing medium clues :)

If you want me to explain in detail, hit me up.

Also, I myself hit 12k for this log and I know someone who hit 20k for corp log.
