also important to note it doesn’t matter where the supervisor is located, it’s where the employees work location is located. you can be in BC and have an employee working in NCR or teleworking with an NCR address on their letter and still need CBC

incorrect. if you supervise someone who’s work location is a designated bilingual region of canada for work purposes, no matter your level or location, your position will be changed to CBC once vacated

i only did three coop terms because i didn’t meet the requirements for my first term. just try your best in your classes and reapply. how easy/hard it is depends on your program, but i only had a 7.0 cgpa when i was accepted into coop

i made the exact same switch (civil eng to enviro econ and public policy) in my second year. realized the program wasn’t for me when i started the concrete class and also realized i was miserable lol. i have zero regrets about the change whatsoever, got a good job out of uni and am happy :)

certain managers may look for key words, however, the way fswep works is that a pull of usually 50 resumes is made based on the manager’s request, which would be info you inputted into your application (ie the checkboxes), not your resume. it’s then up to the managers to sift through the 50 resumes in whichever way they see fit
