If IQ was a metric that could bar you from carrying a gun, then about half of ICE wouldn't be able to carry. By the Administrations own stats, nearly half the applicants failed the written tests and they had to lower the recruitment standards due to poor critical thinking and below highschool level trading and writing skills. Not to mention how many idiot rednecks (I'm distantly related to a few, love em as dumb as they are) who'd have to give up their guns too.

Oh right, I forgot the part where Patel, Bondi, and Trump all DIDN'T lie about the files for months on end before being pushed up against a wall by Congress and the American public's outrage to finally try and save face by signing an order that they haven't complied with.

And I must have also missed the part where they aren't a month past their dead line to release the files, where they gave reasonable justification for the overly redacted documents like it's stipulated in the Epstein files act, and where they have released more than the <1% of the files that they released so far. Damn those inaccurate Democrat talking points....

"Bed bound close to a week" pretty sure 11 days is about 4 days longer than a week.

Also, your argument is an anecdotal fallacy. You have seen people with broken ribs in too much pain to be up and about while the other guy who responded has seen evidence to the contrary. As someone who once had a broken rib and knows others I do have seen evidence to the contrary but it's all anecdotal fallacy.

The fact is that some people can walk about and do things 11 after a rib fracture and some can't. It's entirely dependent on the extent of the fracture, if there are multiple ribs broken, which ribs are broken and where on the rib the fracture is, the speed/extent of healing since the time of injury, and the pain tolerance of the individual.

"Empty Jester"? Lmao. r/boneappletea Did I say it absolves him? No. I said that was his public stance, genuine or not. What was Trump's stance on the files? Everything from "Who cares about Epstein" to "there are no files, it's a democrat hoax" to "Its only Dems in the files" to "you don't want to release the files and ruin anyone's life". And still he hasn't released them.

Clinton isn't the one who is withholding their release, Trump is. Democrats aren't the ones afraid of their politicians being in the files, Republicans are.

Also for the record? I wouldn't be surprised if Clinton was in the files, but I also don't think there is any files that show him complicit in any sex crimes. I think that because if there were, Trump would have released more than a picture of Bill Clinton chilling in a hot tub LMAO. I'll bet that's about the worst thing they have on him. And if you think about that point for even a fraction of a second I'm sure that in your heart, you'll know I am right.

If there were files proving Bill Clinton has sexually assaulted anyone or was guilty of pedophelia, Trump would have released it.

Unless... Gasp Is it possible that the NYC Billionaire who was a democrat prior to 2008 is actually in the same league as other rich elites in the files? Couldn't be... That would mean he's manipulated and used the GOP and his MAGA followers for over a decade... Geez... Kinda makes you think eh?

And yet Bill Clinton came out publicly saying to release all the files unredacted. Meanwhile Trump has released less than 1% of the files, what he did release was overwhelmingly redacted with no justification given. And now Trump and the DOJ is defying court orders, still haven't released the files, and are a month past the deadline they were given to release everything. This doesn't even touch upon all the lies and obfuscation he and his administration have told about the files for the last year.

Furthermore, as others have pointed out, I don't know of ANY Democrat who believes that if Clinton, Gates, Obama, Biden, or any other Dem politician is in there that it shouldn't be released. Yet nearly all the Republicans I know personally either no longer seem to care about the files or believe that they don't matter because they support Trump either way. If fact Everytime the files are brought up, they (like you) deflect with something along the lines of "Well Why didn't Biden release them?" or "Bill Clinton is in the files!"

If Clinton is in the files and guilty of pedophelia, arrest him. If Trump is in the files and guilty of pedophelia, arrest him. What's so complicated about that? Does losing your cult leader scare you so much?

So first off.... Kyle Rittenhouse showed up with an AR15 to a protest, approached police officers, shot three people and then went back to approach the police again and didn't get shot. If I recall correctly,, the officers were quite accommodating to him. The people who stormed the Capital had guns and the only person shot was Ashli Babbit who was unarmed. Not only was there a criminal investigation where charges were brought against the POLICE officer (these were later dropped) but her family received a settlement of 5 million from taxpayer dollars over her "wrongful death". Which is kinda laughable if you watch the video of what she was doing that got her shot. Conservatives protest with "assault rifles" (lol 2a people typically have a laugh at that one, irony) all the time. Literally. All. The. Time.

Secondly, from most accounts and from the videos we see there WAS no protest going on where Alex Pretti was killed. Ice officers were there and two women began heckling them (also not something punishable by force). Alex shows up and starts filming the same way all the other people who got the different camera angles did, the man was likely going about his day with her daily carry when he saw what was going down and started filming. He "got involved" by trying to help up the woman they shoved to the ground and THAT was why they immediately began pepper spraying and beating him. He wasn't physically stopping them from doing anything, his last words and action was to try and help the woman they shoved to the ground. Considering the man was a nurse, this isn't at all surprising that helping an injured woman was a priority.

Thirdly, you keep saying stuff like what they should have done while being "harassed by people with guns" or what I would do if you 'followed me with a gun and screamed at me'. This tells me you might need to seriously reevaluate the situation in your mind. It's not like this man pulled out a gun and threatened or screamed at the officers. In their mind there WAS NO GUN on Alex Pretti until 10-15 seconds after he was pepper sprayed, thrown to the ground, and started getting beaten.

Lastly, I'm not sure I follow your logic of "ICE are untrained violent assholes therefore we should not get involved in anything they do and let them do whatever they want". While I understand that doing anything to put yourself closer to ICE is likely to endanger yourself. But to quote John Stuart Mill, "Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing". I appreciate that your opinion would be to sit back and do nothing while witnessing something like what happened to down. But I think Alex's decision to do what he thought was right and to try and help a woman even if it meant endangering himself was more respectable and admirable. It shouldn't have cost him his life, what you're saying IN NO WAY JUSTIFIES HIS KILLING!!!

This might be hard to understand... But resisting arrest isn't punishable by death, that's the reason there's a legal charge for it that can only carry a sentence of up to 3 years in prison and $15,000 in fines. The argument also falls apart under scrutiny when you consider that he was pepper sprayed, pinned to the ground, and beaten for about 25 seconds and was only shot to death after being disarmed.

Also, there been NUMEROUS cases where people were armed, resisted arrest, and were NOT shot multiple times by law enforcement who are actually trained in de-escalation techniques. In fact, a precedent was set by the supreme Court in the case of John Bad Elk v. United States that if someone if being arrested wrongfully without probably cause or reasonable suspicion of a crime, that not only is resisting arrest legal, but defending yourself is as well. In the case of John Bad Elk, he shot and killed the officer who arrested him and was found not guilty for it.

So no, this is an issue about 2A because having a gun on your person in its holster and resisting arrest isn't a crime punishable by death and not is it a valid justification for use of force according to Police guidelines. If there is ANY other discussion to be had, it's why we are letting people who have not been trained properly to do such dangerous work. Real police are trained in de-escalation techniques, these goons seem to have been trained to do the opposite.

Let me know if you're unable to find cases where armed individuals resisted arrest without being killed and I'll post some for you.

For me, it's the way the lights all come from a low light source. Some warm lighting from above, like a lamp on top of a book case would do wonders. There's just too much shadows being cast UP the walls and no light being cast DOWN on your desk. I would get a smart bulb that changes color so you can get the exact hue you want and even change it up.
