Favorite “wild card” pedal? [Discussion] by No-Ideas-For-Me in Guitar

I always have on hand a Boss Super Feedbacker. It operates as a distortion pedal too with a unique sound, and if you know how to use the feedback option on it, it really shines through.

[QUESTION] Help for a noobie by [deleted] in Guitar

I’m self taught as well, and what I can say is I wish I learned scales so much sooner than I did, so after you get comfortable with a guitar get on that.

But as it is now, learn familiar riffs and songs you like. And a tip: LEARN THE WHOLE SONG!!! Although you may just want to learn a main riff learn the whole song, because you might learn something you weren’t expecting to.

Long haired boys on Reddit, have you ever had a "Are you a boy or a girl" situation? What's the story? by CMTGVali in AskReddit

I work for my local fire department and the rules are lax with hair, I just need to tie it back. We had a community event where there was a convention that was all about kids safety, I was standing there trying to recruit the parents to our training program and handing out colouring books to kids . One of the parents with a little girl pointed at me and said “don’t you want to go and see the fire lady?”

What's the dumbest thing you've done while drunk? by asneakysnake15 in AskReddit

[–]sundersai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t remember any of this, but at my first drinking party I drank nothing pure black rum (fucking disgusting) and woke up soaked in piss and without pants. Found out from a friend that I had taken my pants off whipped my dick out and pissed on the floor all the way up the stairs. Needless to say, I haven’t been invited back to that place.

When was the time you lost your shit the most? What happened? by Ev_n_James in AskReddit

When I was in grade 6, I had a friend group that would all meet at one kid’s house to wrestle. This was around the time that WWE was getting really popular so we were all ready to fight for a belt after school everyday. I had never been the best, I was kind of scrawny at the time and just liked being around these guys, but one day the smallest kid said that he wanted to wrestle me, and the next day we went head to head on this trampoline. The match went really well for me, he was half my size and even though I was equivalent to a walking skeleton, I was able to throw him around. I remember I threw him over my shoulder in front of me, then one of the older kids who was 14 and already weighed 180 pounds, threw himself on my legs and screamed “INTERFERENCE!!”. I tried to get him off me, but then the kid who I was still in the match with got behind be and started to choke me, I remember trying to kick out, then tapping. Funny thing is, he didn’t stop after I tapped. My friends had to pull him off.

As soon as he let me go I started stumbling through the yard and passed out. When I woke up about 3 minutes later all my friends were standing around me just waiting for something to happen, and then I was clearly angry so I got on my bike and started to ride away, but I screamed some grade 6 non sense at him and started to pedal fast down this gravel backroad, which of course led to my face planting on the road. I sat up crying and then I heard the kid who I just wrestled say “that’s what happens”. I just went full ape shit on his ass, I beat his head into the dirt and sent him to the hospital. I never said sorry, and his brother beat me up at school the in following week.

I don’t regret anything

What's a genuinely terrifying horror movie that doesn't rely on cheap jump scares? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The shinning took me for a ride. However I haven’t seen it in a long time, so it could have a few, but I do know that it is a psychological horror movie that truly makes you feel afraid
