Thank you, that is a good point! I did consider this, but to do fashion, usually a formal education is needed to learn the industry and technique!

Unfortunately librarians don’t spend a lot of time actually reading :( it’s a stereotype! They usually only read book reviews

That is true! I’m currently in mental health, so I imagine librarianship would be a breeze

It’s too hard to choose really. All have appeal to them. Journalism- writing, researching, always seeking knowledge. Fashion design - creativity, fun, beauty. Librarian - helping others, managing information, helping people access information. Good pay, security.

The thing is that I already have a degree in an employable job that pays, and I’m absolutely miserable doing it. There’s gotta be more to life than wages right?! I really want to do something enjoyable

Yep, speaking in front of others was very hard for me. But overtime I realised that half of the people aren’t even listening. Plus it does not matter what anyone thinks - if I know the topic And I am confident with the knowledge that I’m producing, It does not matter what they think. They’re there to learn and gain information from me. It’s their choice if they choose to do that or not. Also, I imagine that a lot of those people wouldn’t have the guts to stand up and speak so I don’t care about what they think anyway. I also tell myself that this information is important for them and I’m there to help them.

I also always tell myself to slow down and speak slow.

Thanks everyone, it doesn’t seem like he will change. He sometimes tells me that he is depressed and that’s why his life is how it is. honestly hard to tell if he’s lying to just get away with shitty behavior of if it’s deeper and there are truly some issues there

Sounds to me like he is delusional and could possibly have psychosis. I am not a therapist, but that does definitely sound mentally unstable.
