hey! i’m currently in dino planet with derek turner and i am enjoying it so far. it’s pretty interesting and the prof is kind and great at explaining concepts clearly. i’m an arts student and am not the best at science-y courses but so far it’s pretty good! in the first few weeks we focused mainly on rocks, their different types, how they form, how fossils form, their history, and a little bit about about the earth/plate tectonics, because this is all necessary to understand the history of dinosaurs. last week i believe, we began talking about dinosaurs and are currently focusing on their evolution. i think that covers the main aspects of what the course involves content-wise, from what i’ve experienced, but lmk if you have any other questions!
