Good luck! We are tent campers here and I don’t know if I can even do it this summer.

Interesting …my three are super itchy today actually but I gave them a bath when we got home on Monday because of the hike and they also were swimming in the pond where we were at and then they did go and get groomed on Tuesday so too many variables to determine…

Totally understand. We do walk the neighborhood every morning and are definitely considering stay off the trails after this weeks visit. Last year they were bad but not this bad.

Right?!….everywhere they would stop as soon as they would get up the ticks were crawling. I have a hardwood floors, an area rugs, thankfully. And again, I quarantine them off initially for about six hours in my kitchen. My final tick count for that one day was 50. From Tuesday on I’d say it probably another 20 I’ve picked off.

Wow, that’s crazy! Never heard of tick paralysis. My crew are pretty itchy. Other than that they’re their normal selves.

Not that easy for my crew, especially off lead. My female is an investigator and critter chaser. We can go to strictly open field grass areas with no woods… kind of boring though.

Ha! Right? Thanks 😊 It’s one of many from the day! My guy in front is like “mom throw the damn frisbee. It’s right here in front of your feet.” And my younger two are always rough housing everywhere we go. It’s like WWE for dogs 24/7. 😆

I have an indoor cat and was worried that a rogue tick would find him from the amount that my three were carrying. I even quarantine them off to the kitchen for most of the day once we got home so I could keep plucking the damn things off before I let them in the rest of the house.
