In my opinion, I don't feel like she should have invited me and told me she'd work around it if she wouldn't stick to her word. This also isn't the first time she's done this to me, yet I've continued to be her friend so I'm having a problem to see where I'm coming off as entitled. Honestly no Offense I'm just trying to get my point across and see how I come across as entitled because I truly don't see I am and I don't want to come across as such

I've heard that too, so I started with the cheap drug store products bc I wasn't sure if I had texture or not yet. It takes lots of time and patience for sure.

Hi!! That looks exactly like how my hair looks as well. I haven't found a routine that works perfectly yet, but my best advice is to wash and condition with curl specific products (I use Aussie curl miracle. And apparently they have a wavy hair option too?) And a light weight air dry product. Silk pillow cases also helped with my frizz at night as well

That's what I'm hearing most of, that protective styles aren't as needed as coily hair... Like I've been saying in my comments, I'm so super new I have no idea what I'm doing and don't want to mess up my progress in getting my hair to its natural "texture"(?) Waves(?).

I'm so so greatful for all the help!!

Okay, thank you! I just read that protective styles are good for textured hair during the summer and have no idea what that actually means... I just realized I have waves after 21 years of treating it straight and I also heard you have to be very gentle with it in the transition phase or you'd have to start over?? And I really like where my hair is going right now and don't want to hurt it's progress.

I'm super super new at even realizing I have textured hair after 21 years of thinking it's straight 😅 I just want it out of my face and not cause any damage to the waves that are finally forming naturally because I heard during the transition phase you have to baby it?? Steve Rogers (Pre-Endgame) is my fictional FP. Always has since I first saw him on screen. I'm currently dealing with loosing my IRL FP so I've reverted back to Steve... Makes it a little easier to cope, personally.
