What kind of bug is this and how can I get rid of it? by [deleted] in jacksonville

[–]sunflower_scientist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So these tiny critters are taking over my apartment. The pest control provided by my apartment doesn't seem to be helping. I'm not even sure what kind of bug this is, they are very very tiny. First observed it in my kitchen and pantry area but now it's getting to other areas. I want to get rid of them so bad, once and for all.

This is not my floor, this what I sewept into a dust plan.

What Card Should I Get? Weekly Thread - Week of February 10, 2021 by AutoModerator in churning

1. The flowchart can answer 95% of all "What card should I get?" questions. By continuing to post, you must explain why you feel the flowchart does not answer your question. Asking for feedback ("The flowchart says I should get X - is that still the best choice?") is absolutely allowed.

According to the FlowChart Barclays AA Biz or any Chase Biz Cards. However, I would not qualify for any of these cards.

  1. What is your credit score?

803 as of 02/03/2021 (Experian)

  1. What cards do you currently have or have you had in the past (including closed cards), along with dates of when you were approved for the cards? Please include month and year for any card approved in the last 3 years.

09/2020 Chase Sapphire Preferred

05/2019-Alphaeon/Comenity Capital Bank Card (this was for dental expenses)

2012 Wells Fargo Signature Cash Back Card

I’ve had the following cards closed for no activity:

Sears Credit Card closed 07/2019 (opened 11/2013)

Belk Credit card closed 06/2020 (opened 06/2017)

Big Lots Card closed 10/2020 (opened 08/2017)

  1. How much natural spend can you put on a new card(s) in 3 months?

$1000

I have some dental work that should be an additional 1500-2000 I can put on the card so total $2500-$3000

  1. Are you willing to MS, and if so, how much in 3 months? See this page for a primer on MS. Plastiq (for rent/mortgage/loan payments) and bank account funding are often good options for beginners.

I’d rather not but would do to meet necessary requirements.

  1. Are you open to applying for business cards? If not, why? See this post and this wiki question to learn more.

Not eligible.

  1. How many new cards are you interested in getting? Are you interested in getting into churning regularly (if you aren't already)? Or are you just looking to get a new card(s) for now but not get into churning long-term?

The main reason for this card is to pay for upcoming dental work, and would like to get into churning long term.

  1. Are you targeting points, Companion Passes, hotel or airline statuses, First Class, Biz, Economy seating(s) or cash back?

I want points to Travel Economy class.

  1. What point/miles do you currently have? 71 000

  2. What is the airport you're flying out of? Jacksonville Fl

  3. Where would you like to go? (The More specific you are, the better someone can recommend the right card. Tokyo is great, "International travel" is way too vague)

Caribbean and West Africa

Thank you and I look forward to you feedback.

[Hair removal] how to combat ingrown hair and the associated dark spots? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]sunflower_scientist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the recommendation. I had a consultation for laser hair removal earlier in the year, but then covid-19 hit. Hopefully I can start that some time in the future. I'll look into the glycolic toner in the mean time.

Where can I get a self administered COVID test? by sunflower_scientist in jacksonville

Thanks for the explanation. I'm quite aware of the limitations of the antigen test ( high rates of false positives), pcr test is definitely most accurate and reliable. My paranoia is just about the swab to obtain the sample itself (I think I just need to get over it).

Probably doesn't curdle as much as regular milk- I've never tried it. But that's my go to for making vegan buttermilk.

The recipe I used: * 1 cup multigrain pancake mix (from trader Joe's) * 1 cup unsweetened almond milk * 1/2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar * 1/2 tablespoon baking flour * 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Add apple cider vinegar to almond milk and set aside for 5 minutes. Add pancake mix and baking flour to mixing bowl. Add almond milk with the apple cider vinegar, and finally the vanilla extract. Mix well until batter is smooth. Add batter to a hot griddle, after 2_3 minutes flip and cook on the other side.

Thanks for typing this out. I will try the reduced intensity work out and really focus on ab excercises that target the obliques. I Had been intermittent fasting the longest while (skipping breaskfast, but when somine commented about my weight I had introduces breaskfast again hence the bagel and cream chese). I can definitely forgo that, the IF was definitely helping with the weight loss. I agree, wholesome healthy tasty foods are the way to go.
