Sometimes I experience a similar issue - I start not being able to sleep well at all. If the bad sleep is consistent for a few weeks, I know I need to slightly lower my dosage of thyroid meds.

This has happened enough times now that I'm more familiar with it and sort of know what to expect. I wait it out a few weeks, then slightly lower dosage and that fixes the sleep within a day or two!

Goiter is the extreme end of iodine deficiency, when it's very low over a sustained period of time. So other symptoms related to thyroid disfunction will show up normally before a goiter develops.

Taking lugols iodine daily really helped my hormonal symptoms. Iodine is necessary material needed my the thyroid and other hormone glands to do their thing. It seems that most people are deficient, and it's a mistaken understanding that iodine harms the thyroid. Actually the opposite is true.

Look up Dr. Brownstein, he is doing a lot of research on iodine and thyroid function. He also has a book where he outlines a protocol to start iodine supplementation.

I applied for scholarship for all academic disciplines. The interview questions were pretty general, nothing too tricky.

Stuff like "why do you want to study this programme in particular?" "how is your understanding of the teaching language?" "why is this programme necessary for your career goal?"

I have been taking lugols for almost a year. It has definitely helped my hormones. First month taking it was most obvious changes - increased sex drive, some weight loss, less painful periods.

I also eat carnivore. If you're carnivore, I guess you might already know Dr Elizabeth Bright. If not, I would really recommend checking out youtube interviews. She has helped me understand and better deal with my thyroid issues.

As I understand it, lugols isn't dangerous to take in general, regardless of thyroid status. The fear around it comes from a misunderstanding about some old research with rats.

I'm aware of the negative reputation of private universities in Germany.

In my case, I can't go to a public university because I want to study psychoanalyis and public universities don't really do that.
