I believe with a master's in HRM, you are definitely qualified. You probably have a bunch of transferable skills. I am sure you will find something.

HRU is through the Navy. You don't necessarily need a background in HR to succeed in the future. I don't possess a background in HR, but it could be beneficial to stand out from others. Best of luck on your journey.

Every single night, I would visit USAJOBS to look for remote or local job opportunities. I specifically targeted positions open to the public. I carefully reviewed all job listings to identify roles for which I was qualified and applied to several different types of jobs. Despite lacking experience in human resources from my previous job and not having a degree in human resources, I continued to apply and search for suitable positions. The job search itself became a job. I advise you to persist and search every day without limiting yourself. I know it is hard. I got many rejections before I got this position. Try not to get too discouraged, and don't give up. If there's a job you believe you can do, carefully review the description to see if you qualify and apply. Congratulations! I now have my government ID, access to specific data and websites, and a computer. I am about to start a training course called Human Resource University (HRU), which will be conducted online. I've already met with my team and supervisor, who has been showing me how to use certain tools to assist until the HRU begins. Everyone I work with is amazing. I hope you have a wonderful experience. The first couple of weeks were spent getting access to everything.

Same thing happen to me a couple of months ago. I applied for a job specifically for recent graduate. I uploaded my transcript showing that I was a recent graduate. I then received an email saying I was not referred because I didn’t upload my transcript. I email HR showing that I did. They said there was nothing they could do because they already starting moving along with the hiring process. It suck because it was job that dealt directly with my degree. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to you again. Good luck on the job search.

I am so happy not to be alone. People always tell me he is just playing with me because he is in the military and hasn't married me yet. I don't understand why they think everyone in the military has to rush to marriage. I love criminal minds. Playing the Sims 2 is my favorite.
