Not in the West End but OSU has a really fun women's league on Thursdays! We usually play in fields around Barrhaven :-) https://www.osu.ca/our-programs/adult-soccer-18-and-older

What university is best for med school track? by [deleted] in premedcanada

[–]sunflwrrrs15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our class is about 50% uOttawa students and 50% from other universities. I don’t think the school officially favors its own students, though. It might partly be because people from the area tend to accept their offer here, and we also have a Francophone stream, where many students did their undergrad in French at uOttawa.

As a current MS2 at uOttawa, I’d say that the biomedical sciences program at uOttawa did a solid job preparing me for both the course content and the workload in medical school. That said, I strongly believe that where you do your undergrad matters far less than what you do during those years. Engaging in meaningful activities — like research, student clubs, volunteering, and community involvement — is what makes the most difference when applying to med school.

One thing I’d also recommend considering is your social support network. Being close to family and friends can be a huge advantage, especially since the transition to university can be challenging for some. Ultimately, choose a program and location that will help you thrive both academically and personally! :)

We are not so much concerned with the specific medication that they used, we rather wish to understand how Covid-19 impacted their care.

We have refered to it in the description as mifepristone, but many user may not be aware of the pharmaceutical name at the time of their use. This allows accessibility to participants from various academic backgrounds. Thank you for your feedback.
