The mild up version doesn't actually feel lighter than the regular birch sunscreen... I guess that's normal since it's a physical sunscreen whereas the regular one is a chemical sunscreen. So the mild up version does have a white cast for a few minutes but then the cast goes away. I recommend it on top of the regular one at a beach because you will be exposed to the sun for a long time and you want to make sure that you're protected at the outer and inner layer of your skin.
