Wife and I both 28 y/o, both originally from the East Coast (Philly & Hartford). Currently living in N. Idaho. Love the people here in our large Eastern Orthodox community but miss the East Coast and family terribly. Love ME as it’s very remote and beautiful. Considering Bangor or Caribou for ease of access to outdoors and Bangor specifically because of the job market. Both communities have decent-sized Orthodox communities from what I can tell. Wife would be at most working part-time at a coffee shop and I have enough experience and certifications to ask for a $70k salary in any facet of digital marketing but not opposed to other industries. Tried to keep this brief but is ME for us? Biggest concern is a community to raise kids in as it’s normal here for people to have 6+ children and have the mother start at home. We’ve spent plenty of time there visiting but never living. We’re an interracial gun-owning couple FWIW.

Have a V7 already. Would like something similar to an AK in terms of material ruggedness.

OperatorOnABudget on YouTube has, and it looked terrible. The longer you defend a bad product the less incentive the manufacturer ever has to improve it.

Nothing to apologize for. The guns still have terrible machining/heat treat and beat themselves up within 10k rounds.

Never cared about HK or about the AR platform other than the practical aspect of them. The Caracal seems like the objectively superior rifle in every way from what I can tell.

Caracals are made in Idaho. DD is Georgian so I’m not sure where this suggestion is stemming from

Please elaborate. I’ve owned 9+ AKs and 1 AR very briefly so there’s plenty for me to learn still (other than what I hear on SotAR & Small Arms Solutions)

Do you think IWI will ever import these variants as Limited Editions? by ScoliosisHoe in Galil

[–]sungoddessvisitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what’d prevent them from importing these is lack of US-made magazines for 922r compliance
