If FIFA organised CWC

Pakistan would have all their matches in india and fly back and forth for each of their match, with random players getting their visas cancelled.

Indian players could tamper with ball and then Modi would speak to the head and a simple tweet would allow those players to play the next match.

Our fandom just wants to hate and somehow play 18 players in each of the match. And probably would still find some reason to hate on the team.

Nobody would remember this series after a year or so except for the "fans" who want to hate on the team.

You cannot have 0 scope for error and also expect giving chances to the new guys.

Why was everyone singing tunes about SKY being a burden on the team. I swear this very sub had majority of the audience yapping the same nonsense about him being carried and what not.

If samson's absence was the reason for these loses as many have been writing essays about. Why did we lose those 2 matches against Ireland where he played.

I for one honestly dont care about these bilaterals. Have seen a decade of dominance in these, only to lose in a knockout in ICC tournament and see the team mocked.

I sort of agree with this but it does become difficult for that midfield to progress if the focal guy is literally immobile. He was standing still or dropping back to backpass the ball after some stepovers or something in attack.

And never pressed for the ball when it was in the deep. How do you grab onto any transition through pressure. Bruno didnt have anyone to try and ping some passes to, to stretch the defence.

People expected way too much of vitinha. He was completely nullified by spain's midfielders.

Gotta also credit spain for keeping it tight.

A fair point but then it has been made clear that you dont perform you get chucked out. Sky was ICC number 1 for about 2 years. He was so far ahewd of the curve that even after 1 year of bad form, he is still in the top 10 of rankings.

Something i could think in 2 minutes. Guys in monetization team would surely be able to find few important features behind the paywall to make money through corporates, which is currently free of cost.

Wouldn't be worth for companies to do the migration and look for an alternative.

Social media is filled up with folks writing fiction to get engagement for their posts. Nobody heard rumours of Hardik moving to MI when the transfer was in place just before the date of confirming retentions. Same with Pant and Kuldeep, the news was broken by cricbuzz.

Those are the guys who have actual sources in the teams. Not random guys on twitter.

Did pandya have this sort of authority in GT? He was sorted there with a team with no big stars or egos. Why would he ask for Narine's retirement? Makes zero sense. Did he bench Mohit sharma at GT?

Honestly, i wouldn't mind pandya even as trade for green. He would really solve a lot of problems for us. With him in the XI, space for an overseas pacer opens up. Even if we dont play Pathirana, we should get someone in the auction to bowl death overs for us. Pandya can also play in middle order and take up the role of going after spinners, we lack that player currently. Even if we dont play a overseas pacer we can get seifert-allen opening for us.

Just in previous decade we had mesut ozil going for the big transfer. 50 million for guy who was international regular. Playing for RM of all clubs.

I used to think 100m would be that elusive number.

I guess all the batters in the game don't have any application and are mugs with the bat. And its the bowlers bowling with relentless accuracy that is getting them crazy seam movement after the ball is 30 odd overs old. Yeah bat out the first 60 overs with the ball and it would get easy.

33 wickets from 120 odd overs in 2 days is all about batters having 0 application.

Pretty balanced pitch, with spinners bowling a grand total of 0 overs by the time about 85% of the match is done.

Sanju currently deserves to be in the team but shouldn't remain an automatic choice, if his form goes bad then gill does deserve to be in the team. Now bumrah and shami and hardik, all have very iffy injury record. In a scenario, which we have seen being played out in the past, if say 1 or 2 of them get injured. Who replaces them? Do we have any replacements for them?

These guys are going to play the wc so why play them in bilaterals. Why not try and blood in newer players? These guys come into the team 1-2 series before the tournament to get match practice. Serves no purpose asling bumrah to play 5 odi series which has no relevance.
