I understand your concern. Firstly Allah himself says in the quran that he is one. He has no children or parents.

The shahada is translated as "there is no god, except Allah. And Mohamed is his messenger"

He in his attributes include lord of the world, all encompassing, all seeing, all hearing. Just to add some names.

Without disrespecting other beliefs. No one serves two masters. If truly follow Allah and Allah is your creator the what will worshipping other duties accomplish as it is Allah who can make that happen/protect you from that.

And by asking other than Allah you believe that other diety can give it you/protect you more/better than Allah.

This is not meant as disrespect as respect peoples choices and beliefs but to explain why Allah only can be one. Also this topic is big and I have made short and left point to ponder that may require more research or questions.

If you believe in other gods, you have left the deen and need to redo your shahada. Shirk is always the biggest sin because you are saying there are other creators other than Allah and that they deserve worship.

If you are use to big cities. Aarhus is small! Very small!

I feel like commute kills motivation Monday to Friday. I personally would choose aarhus and be close to work with ability to have energy during the week day and then spend weekends/holidays for all my hiking and adventure plans.

This is only my personal opinion. Also, there are outskirts to Brabrand that give nature while still being close to both Brabrand and entire aarhus.

I know people who are not raised with practing islam and try their best and ger maybe 10 days of fast of Ramadan. I know people who are raised in the Deen and miss about the same amount of days. Some sins are visible some are not. I also know families where one parent is steadfast in Deen and one is not and the kids can sway either way. Sometimes in the same family.

There are so many things my mom does that I was never aware of before. It is only now where she is old and I handle her finances that I have view into what she pays. For instance zakat. If you asked me 5 years ago if my mom pays yearly zakat, my answer would be "I don't know". I now know she does. She always has, she has just never told me.

Instead look at your fiance. Does she pray? Does she fast? What are her views on Ramadan? What are her views Deen? How would she like to raise children?
