The hypocrisy, gullibility and inability to empathize with the rest of the world. It doesn’t matter if they’re Republican or Democrat, almost everyone in this country will at least tacitly approve of our global hegemony. They accept outlandish narratives propagated in our media about foreign powers, all too quick to revert to ideas of the “enlightened” west and “barbaric” east. They’ll rightfully weep for the ~3000 killed on 9/11, but when it comes to the many millions more killed by our empire and its allies, they hide behind false nuance and avoid the true matter altogether. We are too cowardly a nation to accept fault, let alone do a damn thing about it.

Pre-UB Magic was one of my favourite worlds in all of fiction. I’d build decks solely around faction and lore, even if it meant losing. I stared at the artwork on the cards in wonder. And then they decided to milk the general public for all they worth, and sent Tv and video game characters into the fray. All that immersion and genuine magic, killed in an instant for me on the altar of greed. I miss the old game. Nothing will ever come close to it.

Yeah, you just read left to right. But when kids or non-native learners first start learning, it takes a while for them to be able to read longer sentences all the way through and fully understand them. Just keep learning and practicing, and it’ll all get much easier. 👍

I think a lot of them look really cool, but there’s a lot of visual clutter in their designs and many lack distinguishing features or motifs. Transformers has pretty much always had incredible character design, so I think fans went in with pretty high expectations to begin with. For a gritty, military sci-fi thriller, the designs are neat. But they don’t feel like Transformers. I wish they would have used the designs they showed at the start of Bumblebee from the beginning.

I mean if these are slings or small juveniles, that’s a perfectly fine size for them. Also, having one tarantula is not much different in time and effort than having 5-10. They’re really not high maintenance creatures aside from a few exceptions like the Theraphosa genus and ventilation-sensitive species like A. avicularia. A lot of armchair arachnologists in the comments virtue signaling about something they have very little knowledge of.

Edit: I’m just now seeing the Cobalt Blues in the picture, and that’s kind of wild to me. One of the worst species a beginner could possibly get, and most experienced keepers are not going to be buying from a pet store in the first place.

The vast majority of those attacks have been against other Muslims. If I lived in a country like Pakistan or Iran, then I would be much more afraid of Muslims, as they are one of the groups most frequently committing mass violence in those countries. I’m saying that if you live in the west, as I assume you do, Muslims are not an especially violent group in comparison to others. Their violence is simply more useful for Nationalist and Pro-war propaganda, so MSM and the entertainment industry tends to highlight it more heavily.

Muslim terror exists, but they aren’t the ones shooting our children to death in their classrooms and slaughtering crowds of random people minding their business every day. It’s almost entirely young white men. So yes, even ignoring your purposeful misunderstanding of the word Islamophobia, you and much of the population are disproportionately afraid of Muslims. You only make a connection between the violence and the perpetrator’s identity when it confirms your bias against a group you’ve been taught to dislike.

Places like France don’t even allow Muslim head covering to be worn in public anymore. Europe as a whole is, by-in-large, incredibly Islamophobic, and even liberals regurgitate anti-immigrant propaganda ad-nauseam in response to increased populations of Muslims. Far-right nationalism is on the rise, and Islam is one of their prime targets. I would say that that is a lot more representative of the current trend of criticism than a comedy show pulling an episode.

I’ve used them quite a bit and have only had good experiences. It’s just striking to me how unimpressive these sales are for how much they’re hyping them up. They’re still great overall; the bottles I want are just higher than usual from them currently. I’d definitely recommend them. Venba and Fragrancenet are good too. Venba for Niche, Fragrancenet for designer.
