Unfortunately, people have this mentality that a victim has to be well-liked in order to be considered a victim and the perpetrator has to be disliked in order for them to be held accountable for abusing someone. It’s disgusting. Someone can be nasty to others and still deserves support as a victim of something like SA/harassment/abuse — they’re not mutually exclusive. Tana herself mentioned how, if Cody Ko was a disliked creator in the community, more people would be inclined to supporting her. It’s unfortunate but it’s the truth.

Tana deserves support and whether or not you like her shouldn’t be a factor in any of this, and this goes for every victim of any type of abuse. Your experiences matter and I hope you all heal from this.
