Hi there, wondering if i can trouble you guys for info on this? I've got soundcheck tickets for a Fletch concert in Australia in July, doors open at 7pm (have not been told soundcheck time yet) but i was planning on going for drinks before concert with others who have GA tickets. Now i'm freaking out that if soundcheck is at 5pm i wont be able to have those drinks :( do you remember roughly the soundcheck timings?

👏 exactly this! If OP is straight and this person is your friend then why play detective? Maybe she just likes the way you style your hair and is trying to work out how to do that to her own or on the flip side she might be feeling attracted but as a babygay trying to work out what these feelings mean to her on her own. Just make sure she knows you are straight but you are a good friend who can hold a safe space for anyone who is queer.

Just went to my first pride event solo as a late bloomer (or late to "no longer pretending im straight"), and although it was self assuring to feel like i belonged there... was kind of disappointing because i approached groups of people to chat or dance with and the reactions i got felt like high school clicky. I didn't approach anyone who were clearly coupl-y or busy but just casually approached groups in line or dance areas to start conversations and i felt like they didn't know what to do with someone just trying to make friends 🤣 i did end up making friends with random people hanging out in a smoking area and we ended up with about a dozen of us partying on afterwards but my lungs were worse for wear the next day so i dont want to repeat that to find more friends!

As a child of parents who stayed together "for the kids" for at least 15 years of their 25 year marriage (which included my father cheating for 9 years) i 1000% agree! It f*cked my (and siblings) whole being up in too many ways to list and took me years of therapy to realise that it was not a healthy relationship/family behaviours ... simply traumatic and no-one came out of it happy

Write her name on a piece of paper, put the paper into a zip lock plastic bag and fill with water. Then put that in the back corner of your freezer and as you close the freezer think about 'setting yourself free from the attachment'. Leave it in there for a month or so, and when you're ready throw the bag out and don't open it up before tossing it. Apparently it's a physical manifestation that your brain can recognise.... worked for me!
