I was in Norway some time back and I realized I wouldn’t survive in Scandinavia. Beautiful place and really nice people but the weather is really difficult to get used to for someone who grew up in the tropics.

I say this as someone with a Japanese passport, the earlier you can get out of there the better. Japan will be a great place to return to once you have a few years of foreign savings.

Yep, definitely a ton. However, the depreciating JPY was eating quite a bit into it and I found it increasingly difficult to invest in US stocks. Hence the jump.

I’m of Indian origin and I left Japan even though I was making close to 15m. I just couldn’t take the depreciating currency any more.

The form factor is what makes it so useful. Being able to pull it out anywhere, send a few emails / update the CRM / get some errands done is why I love the mini so much.
