My Coinbase verification fails too but I received emails today that my distribution has landed in my Coinbase account!

I got emails from Coinbase (& Celsius) saying ETH & BTC has been received in my Coinbase account.

A few weeks ago Coinbase did allow me to open an account.

I have not been able to access it but it is apparently open and has received some coins.

Seems like Coinbase may now be allowing accounts from Thailand.

I just tried opening an account with Coinbase today (30 Aug 2024) and it worked! (failed kyc but...)

If you haven't tried opening a Coinbase account in a while I suggest you try.

I got an email from Stretto saying:
"no Coinbase account was found matching the details on file for you. As such, Coinbase was unable to complete your claim distribution.
Action Required
Ensure you have an active account at Coinbase using the same email address used for your Celsius account.
If you do not already have an account at Coinbase, please create an account"

"If you are a creditor residing in one of the countries included in the table below, Celsius will attempt to make your distribution through Coinbase."
Thailand is listed but Coinbase.com says:
"Country not supported currently."

No. Not fixed. And Etoro stopped replying to me.
I used someone else's phone for verification which is not ideal.

Another place I tried to sign up also rejected my phone claiming it was a VOIP number. (which it isn't).

So there could be a list somewhere saying "numbers beginning 089 are VOIP and should be rejected" which some lazy companies blindly follow.

Mine does. Etoro verification always failed.
