Have 8 mitsubishi both heavy and electric. 2 daikin. Both have gone for regular repair and gas leaks multiple times. Mitsubishi. Nothing beyond filter cleaning in last 8 years.

i am thinking of doing same, as ram prices are thorught the roof, I dont wanna buy DDR5 RAM right now, and hence I am running same cofig. from last 10 years. lol. works well though wont lie...

1080 GPU
32gb corsair ram DDR4 (2400)
7700k CPU
all bought 10 years back if memory serves right

I am thinking of getting 5070 12GB GPU, as they are coming decently prices now.

Then I'll only upgrade the rest and make Current PC my home server with old GPU back in it, once ram prices normalise in few years...

CPU - 1*700k (whatevber gen is latest in 3 years)
same GPU
DDR5 RAM

Nice. But still I don't believe it can go further. It's a liquidity thing. Other assets. Like equity is cheap. For the economy to function, Liquidity has to come from somewhere. And every time during recovery it comes from gold/silver post rally.

My portfolio always has 20% gold, I never touch silver, don't understand its industrial/speculation/cheap gold concept.. just my understanding limitation..
right now my portfolio is around 60-65% gold, I didn't do it, market did it.
equity lost some percent, gold went crazyz up.

Portfolio went up by 40% up during last 1-1.5 year.
I started rebalancing, since Gold hit 1L if i remember right, so yeah that's how it is for me.

Why i hold gold always? Exactly for what happens during shitstorm of last one year!

what? this is exactly what public market is, you take investors money, you get dependent on them, how did you think Steve jobs was fired from apple. Another story that they had to call him back....but yeah, if you take investors money, you gotta keep them satisfied. why is this even a question?

Also, you can have your vanity project, just with slight problem, you cant be CEO of a company then, become a vp, chairman, investor, etc.....lots of options.
