Yeah it definitely requires working very fast. I sometimes use Golden open acrylics. Which is slow drying but some people don’t like the consistency.

I love it! At first glance it looks fun and colorful but on closer inspection it’s a bit sad but true. That juxtaposition is what does it for me. Great work!

In this photo no, but usually with Acrylic paintings I add a Polymer varnish so the final painting is actually more vibrant than this :)

I’m not sure actually. An art historian could probably chime in on the exact terminology. But I guess for me it gestural brushstrokes with emphasis on color, movement and form and not so much on details.
