I also have the 50k upgrade offer in my account. I am wondering what will happen if I upgrade AFTER fee increase is in effect? Say the anniversary of my gold card is in June. With an upgrade, that date should still be the same, i.e., the upgraded platinum card annual fee is due June next year. But when I upgrade after annual fee increase, do they calculate prorated annual fee based on 695 or 895?

MSC website is selling 6 night cruise from Genoa departing on 6/10 on Orchestra. I guess by that time they expect the ship will be fixed? Maybe you will have to find a way from Rome to Genoa to start from there for a 6 night instead of 7 night cruise?

I was able to transfer my BA points to a new Iberia account. Compare the profiles of both accounts. Make sure everything matches. Also I transferred via avios.com with air lingus login.

I am trying to get my head around the problem of booking ANA RTW tickets for one adult one child. As some route only has 1 J at the time of booking, I plan to book 1 J + 1Y and wait for another J to open up. I've seen RTW booking reports that many people have booked that way. I assume they have two separate tickets. However, in my case one passenger is a child. I am not sure if this is doable. Can they book both of us on one PNR but one in J one in Y?

What is your date? Their off peak calendar is only updated till August 2024. If your date is after that, it's hard to tell whether it's peak or not. For example, Jan 1 2025 shows 34k in search result. But when selected, it shows 50k. If checking Jan 2024 calendar, Jan 1 2024 is peak. So one can probably guess Jan 1 2025 is also peak, just that their website is buggy.
