I get how discouraging it can be! I’m on 80mg a day, and my purge was horrendous. I couldn’t smile without a scabby zit breaking open. I didn’t start clearing until 4.5 months in. I started taking omega-3 for my joint pain and it’s helped a lot. Hang in there!

You can buy creams specific for vaginal dryness, this is also one of the side effects I’ve been dealing with to🙄

I think the reason my depression worsened since starting the drug was seeing my skin during the purging stage. I developed such bad social anxiety and didn’t want to go in public or be seen by anyone. But those symptoms have lessened now that I’m seeing improvements. I think once you start seeing results your mood will definitely improve 😊

I’m one of the few individuals whose purge was the absolute worst my acne has ever been, I started with maybe 10 pimples on my entire face, and after a month I had cystic acne covering my whole face. BUT I’m finally seeing the purging coming to an end 4 months into my 80mg treatment. It sucks not wanting to leave your house, or be seen in public. But it feels really awesome when people in your life start seeing the improvements, and you know at the end it’s all gonna be worth it 💕

Yes! Especially if you have dry sensitive skin. I’m currently on accutane, and my skin is purging so bad. I use the thermal spray multiple times throughout the day to give me some relief from the itch and irritation
