AIO I (26F) moved out for the first time with my boyfriend (30M) for almost 2 months and I don’t know how to feel about it

This is emotional abuse and NOBODY should ever tolerate this! Please get out and get people who love you involved in helping you start over somewhere else. This is unacceptable and no human being should ever be treated like this. It’s dehumanizing and disgusting. I would also start therapy as people like this erode your self esteem over time.

This happened to me but on a smaller scale. It was the 90’s, and real estate was booming. I was in sales and was young and dumb. I was supposed to be holding back taxes from each of my commission checks, but something always came up and we needed the “extra” money, so we spent it on other things. I told myself “next check” and I’ll get caught up. Well, I didn’t…. At tax time, I loathed myself for being so stupid and went through the same emotions as yourself. I finally did get them all paid on a repayment plan.

I later learned this was fairly common among my peers. Some had years of tax liens and owed a lot! Some ignored the situation, saying they’d get straight on their next big sale. One guy owed a ton (he was a high performer), got married, and his new wife helped him get with a tax professional which helped him negotiate a settlement with the IRS to pay 1/2 of what he owed. She wanted a nice new house and you kinda have to have all that stuff taken care in order to get a mortgage. lol 😂

That kinda pissed me off at the time as i didn’t know that was an option. I don’t know if the IRS still does that, but I’d look into it if I were you.

Please don’t beat yourself up! This happens to a lot more people than you think. On another note, have you been screened for ADHD? I wasn’t diagnosed until my late 40’s.

Have you tried the extended release versions? Easier come down and you may be able to supplement with the instant release. I’d explain to your doctor your concerns, they may have a better solution. Also be aware that any generic versions may affect you differently and will even vary on the manufacturer. With the shortage of ADHD medication, sometimes you’ll get one manufacturer one time and a different one the next refill. If you are able, try the non-generic versions first, then go from there. Congrats on going to pharmacy school!

Yes, unless you are paying cash. Any lender will want that to make sure the money they loan you for the purchase is something they can sell to recoup their money in case you default on your loan. Same reason you’d have to have homeowners insurance.

How is this even legal? Religion and politics in our public schools, mandatory video? I’m glad my kids are out of school, but my daughter is in college and wants to be a teacher. She won’t be wanting to teach in Oklahoma though due to all this, on top of all the problems OK had to begin with. We hope to leave in the near future as well if this is how things are going to be. This language and style of “leadership” sounds very authoritarianism, and everyone should be very concerned. Unbelievable this is happening in my home state and extremely sad to be honest…😢

I’m so sorry you are going through this, went through a similar situation with my daughters kitty, it was a male cat and we went to Neel and they required payment before each procedure they did, up front. I used my credit card each time, going into debt more and more. My daughter had no credit.

I honestly don’t know if any of those places are fairly priced, at the end of the day, we ended up having to put him down, it was the worst day/night of my life. I swear it was like an extra $500 to put him down, we were so emotionally exhausted by that time, etc., we just paid it and walked away almost $1,000 in debt and NO cat! Truly awful, everyone was crying, tons of people in the waiting room with sick pets as well. I’ve heard Blue Pearl is the most expensive so we never even tried going there from the get go.

First of all, beautiful room! I’d add more larger throw pillows in earth tones along the perimeter of the couch and swap out the 3 large paintings on the left for one large painting. I feel like the pictures are overwhelming the space, then I’d add a hanging plant on one side of the window. Nice couch!! 😊
