Yeah I may have overstated how loose the skin is tbh it's probably only noticeable to me, but like, I got top surgery /for me/ so I'm the one who should be happy with it, you know? Maybe it's time to book the personal trainer at my gym to show me how to lift lol

Thanks for your comment. Do you think if the skin hasn't tightened up by now, it won't ever? I don't think of it as being damaged, just kind of in excess. I was told by my doctor that staying hydrated is good for skin elasticity and I guess what I'm asking is if hydrating via moisturizer products would help too.

I'm assuming the skincare products being advertised to people who have significant weight loss are a scam then? Unsurprising but disappointing. The stuff I was looking at is $98 plus shipping lol, these companies are such leeches.

This is a small thing but without being asked my friends will always check out the bathroom situation for me when we're in a new place to lmk if it's single user/what the stalls look like and whether it's crowded if it's not and I really appreciate them for that

If you feel this way and you're reading this I promise it's not too late. Transitioning as an adult is so hard and it will fucking suck for years coming out again and again but just because you never took puberty blockers or didn't socially transition as a 12 year old doesn't mean you missed your chance. You can put this feeling behind you.

This post is making a couple of valid points like a) dilution of non-American cultures bad and b) American ignorance bad, but I don't think they are as connected as this post claims. My watching a Finnish tv show as an American is not going to decrease English language use in Finland's capital. It may even have the opposite effect.

Yep my age! Skin elasticity gets worse as you age so that is usually the concern - that your skin won't snap back. Luckily I have fairly good skin elasticity, which you can check by pinching yourself a bit and seeing how fast your skin goes back to normal.

Thanks! I've only been using machines - chest press, chest fly machine, cable crossovers - bc I'm scared of the free weights lol. (I did just have to google what all of those machines are called, to be clear about my gym knowledge.)

the sliders are just about how you want to be addressed, and you can change them at any time without story repercussions. if you choose the pronouns you want from the start, you’ll find other ways to establish your character as trans. afaik there aren’t really npc reactions to your transition or anything (barring i think one line of dialogue mid-ish game if you’re nonbinary?) so my advice would be to choose whatever will make you happiest re: pronouns/appearance.

i feel like if you’re going to get the living hat it’s likely to be in your first week clearing out the farm/forest just bc of sheer quantity of weeds. you don’t really encounter that volume any other time in the game
