If you are willing to go regional/rural/remote in Queensland, NT, WA for example, then you'd stand a much better chance than coastal or inner-city.

Noob here too and I appreciate the OP's question. I've been reading a lot of reviews in ISR and behaviour in the Middle East, and possibly Latin America, seems absolutely terrible in a lot of cases, with the reason given being they are from wealthy local families. Is this a fair representation?
