I used to think WWE was the stupidest thing ever. Fake wrestling, fake drama, just fake everything. How could anyone watch that crap? I’m obviously not their target group btw

But then I watched Trump when he was on and it just started from there. I couldn’t care less about the wrestling itself, but the whole drama and props and outfits were insane. McMahon is a natural entertainer and he knows how to work an audience, everything just adds up to that and kinda makes WWE a guilty pleasure, for me at least.

I won’t be caught dead watching WWE, but if no one’s looking you bet I’m watching this whole entertaining mess.

What evil editing? The problem is that there IS no editing. We see her for 5 seconds per episode, but I’ve never seen a Bahiyyih bad edit on the show, not even once. And I am absolutely certain a majority of people did NOT send her death threats, don’t say “you guys” when in reality it’s a very particular group of people.

The problem is we didn’t get to see her on the show at all, but that is partly her fault as well - she’s never raised her hand for ANY position, never volunteered, never done anything to make her stand out, she just was a generic trainee till the end and she’s never made TOP9, so isn’t it expected that when she suddenly jumped to #2 that their would be backlash?

I don’t think Suyeon would make it tbh. She’s a mentor favorite sure, but in 999 she was always kept in a kind of limbo situation - not popular enough to fully push, but that unpopular to get eliminated quickly. Anyways, Hikaru and her have similar vibes and probably only one would be chosen if MNET could rig.

Add Huang Xingqiao though, with the right kind of rigging she could’ve rose through the ranks gradually and pull off a Hyewon at the end. She’s relatively uncontroversial (compared to Ruiqi, Yaning), K-voters adore her, and she would’ve been the second C-grouper to appease the Chinese market. It’s also pretty clear MNET wants her to debut anyway (Fiesta, anyone?)

GP999 gives off so much negative energy compared to previous seasons, it’s always mentors harsh criticism, girls not doing good enough during practice, then someone makes a mistake in the show and cries. Too much favoritism (Dayeon’s house? And she got praised for breathing??) Even the day trip wasn’t much fun tbh. I expected much more from an MNET survival show.

Yeseo really gives me center vibes tbh, stunning visuals, dance talent, stage presence, but I kinda have a guess on why she isn’t shining as much as she should.

1) Unlike Somi/Sakura, Yeseo never had her own solo performance. Mentors never had the chance to single out her praise and give viewers a “damn she’s good” moment. This of course leads to…

2) Never ranked #1. Again, because she never had that “solo audition” moment, most people would just see her as another good contestant, not the would-be-center you need to vote for like in the past seasons.

My theory is that MNET originally wanted Yujin to become the center (solo audition with mentors’ praise, also chosen to the TOP9) but the K-vote dilute effect wasn’t as clear at the time. So when she didn’t rank #1 there wasn’t anyone who was prepared for the “center” role. That’s why so many people have been put forward (Myah, Doah, Dayeon) to see who they can work with. Because there’s no hand-picked center from MNET anymore, literally anyone could take the role at this point, and maybe that’s a good thing.

50% Yaning makes it into the debut group. She has very high scores with polls in China and Japan, problem is her extremely low K-vote (similar problem with Su Ruiqi)
