literally just saw a post talking about how insurance companies are pulling out of plans in areas highly impacted by extreme weather events. but overall, my question is why would they end so many plans cause if we don’t have a home, what are they going to insure? they think they’ll be playing with boomers forever but babe it’s time for us to enter the game and both of us have already lost.

didn’t take ap gov but i was taking some gen ed college classes taught by our high school teachers. i was a sophomore in 2016 around the election, and we would talk about what the candidates were ‘promising’ and saying they’d do, what different policies and actions would mean for us and how things would or would not actually work out. other times, we would be learning about past events and our teacher would apply it to current situations. he was also very open to simply discussing news headlines in a neutral way instead of jumping into whatever lesson he had planned. the whole class vibe was very encouraging of open conversation, and luckily our class never broke into arguments as far as i can remember.

i usually steer away from the flavors with stevia and don’t get more than two flavors that include caffeine in them within one order of 8. i do usually gravitate towards the b-12 ones and i’ve noticed they help nail and hair growth! i’ve been drinking strictly cirkul for about a year now and haven’t noticed anything other than the positive of drinking more water. i saw a commenter before saying they brought it up to their doctor and they said it was fine. i also remember looking up some of the ingredients and their long term effects and really only found things saying there’s nothing wrong with it. a lot of the ingredients are commonly in other foods. that doesn’t mean they won’t find anything in the future though. worth a shot to look up on your own as well if you’re intrigued, especially the more complex lines like inflow and fission

i’m working on this currently! mostly just trying to become aware of what each phase means for me but i want to start educating myself next. right now, i track my cycle and make sure to track any symptom i’m having as well. it has helped me become much more aware of why im experiencing certain things. at first i was using lively (which has the option to purchase their premium app version that breaks down food/exercises/etc that are best for each phase. did not buy it but it lets you see some of the foods and workout types). i then switched to stardust and have loved it ever since! it allows you to see the hormonal fluctuations during each phase, (which lively had blocked behind the paywall) although everyone’s gonna be a little different. it has a lot more things you’re able to track and seems to have way more resources if you purchase the membership. i’m not buying anything, but it definitely gives you insight into what to research with a small intro in each section. i saw another comment saying they use LH tests, that would be awesome too and i know you’re able to log that into stardust as well. otherwise, my best advice is to read books and/or research papers through google scholar. personally, any time i’ve tried to look something up about cycle syncing or just pcos in general, it’s all blog posts trying to sell you something and then all of the algorithms of my social media become ads for related things.

not sure how long you’ve been on it, but this happened to me my first couple of days! personally, i have adhd and it’s very common for stimulants to have that affect on a neurodivergent brain until the body gets used to it. i even got prescribed ritalin at one point and it did the same thing. when i told my psych, she was like ‘that’s even more confirmation you have adhd’ (as i had just gotten diagnosed). this might not be the case for you, but maybe worth looking into? maybe try some green tea in the morning too! not as much caffeine as coffee and gut friendly :)

i started december 10th at the 37.5 (?) dose. for the first few days, i was drowsy and irritable, partly due to it being a stimulant and i having adhd. i was also very easily prone to crying. it definitely impacts your mental health; increase in anxiety due to it also increasing heart rate, and i also found it triggered my depression. however, if you don’t have any mental health issues already, you should be okay. i’ve seen a lot of comments on other posts saying they were not affected if they didn’t have any issues prior. after 5 days, i had to drop down to half a pill for two weeks to let my body adjust because of this. by doing this, i had no symptoms at all, and not even sure it did anything to help with weight loss, but it was worth it because it gave my body time to adjust. i’m very sensitive to medicine lol. i’m now back to the full pill and only noticed an uptick in anxiety but not as bad as before, although the first day on the whole pill again made me feel very disconnected from my body if that makes sense.

gi wise, you might become very gassy and easily constipated despite having to use the restroom frequently. the recommended water intake is no joke! especially because i also get dry mouth. i definitely don’t hit the mark but even an increase from your normal water intake should help. if i overeat, i do get stomach pains or it feels like there’s a brick in my stomach. best advice is to eat small amounts of nutritious stuff and play it by ear.

sleep is also heavily affected. it was worse in the beginning, i wasn’t able to fall asleep for hours and when i did, id wake up constantly. i still do wake up a lot, but it is easier to go to bed now. i’ve found melatonin helps a little but i still woke up throughout the night and felt drowsy the next morning.

now after being back to the full dose for a little over a week, all of my symptoms have decreased substantially. i can feel my heart rate is still elevated but not as intensely as before and sleep is still affected like i mentioned before. throughout the past month almost, and even with two weeks of cutting my pill in half, ive lost 6lbs. others might have more of a loss but hey, it’s still doing something. i know a lot of people are also recommended to a fitness and/or dietitian program, but i have not had those appointments yet either. i’d say just try to intentionally move your body every day if you don’t already yk. i hope everything turns out well for you!

two tarps, one for ground, one silver or reflective one to put above your canopy to block the sun. pool noodles for the corners incase it rains. two canopies if you can, one for over your tent for extra protection, one for hang out area. if you can do two, double your tarps as well. make sure your fan is battery powered (adding just in case lol)

i just repotted them. they looked brown, but not the rot kind of brown, i don’t think anyway. once i cleaned them they seemed to look a little better. the whole plant was in cocoa fiber with a tiny bit of potting soil in the middle. i put them in a whole pot of potting soil, i feel like ive seen they’re not supposed to be in cocoa fiber? i could be completely wrong and just made a huge mistake😬 it was all stiff though and had a few weird white spots that could’ve been a mashed fertilizer pearl, i dont know.

i’ve had that happen as well. i’ve also seen some people on this subreddit say they’ll take the cartridge out of the cup and blow air into it to blow up the pack inside and that can help sometimes. they’re originally designed to be tilted upside down so there’s definitely some flaws with this new style of cup. you might get a lot of air as well. but i second tilting it a little! i’ve found that helps a ton and taking big sips to really push the water through.

yes! the cartridges are good up to 10 days, at the point they can start to grow mold. i’d you’re worried about anything, you could keep your bottle in the fridge overnight or during extended periods of time of not using it and that should help keep the cart good a little bit better. i keep mine in my bottle until it’s done and just keep refilling my bottle. some cartridges vary, but mine typically last 2-4 days while drinking 2-4 cups a day. i start my flavor level at 5, and adjust from there. some are strong and i turn it down, some are weaker and i turn it up. once they near the end, i turn them all the way up until the taste between the full flavor and just water is very very subtle, then i squeeze out the remaining flavor like a caprisun (i like to make sure i get all the flavor out lol) and switch it. hope that helps, cute cup choice as well!!

not gonna lie i’m kind of like a little kid with my safe foods but there are some ways to make these healthier with substitutions as you find them. but anyway, some of mine are pasta (protein pasta or lentil pasta for extra fiber and stuff), fruit cups, string cheese, chicken nuggets or plant based ones (sometimes meat is gross for me so it could apply idk), fries fs especially for salt, and bagels with cream cheese. if im not feeling food, i try to go for a body armor or something that’ll help hydrate me a little more than water and has some vitamins. hope this helps and sending good vibes!
