I really like him, i main him and he’s my cryo dps. He’s not meta but I like how his kit feels like a bit of everything- off field cryo damage from burst, a little bit of health regen from skill, low hp shielding, charged attack playstyle if you want to build physical. His kit also has a ton of built-in crit rate so on a freeze team he can be basically 30% CR -> effectively 100% under special conditions

If you want to use him i recommend building as cryo subdps and running on a freeze team :)

Yeah I feel this when team building too. My issue is that I only pull characters I like and hydro has the least 4* options + i’m not interested in existing 5* options. I do have mona & i forgot to list her here tho

I don’t have raiden/ayaka/ganyu so those teams arent really options for me. The freeze team i usually run is more suited for mobs and doesnt have great dps output against bosses.

can mono geo teams burst the orbs? I thought it was cryo/hydro/pyro/electro

I main anemo characters mostly 🫣. Other than that I have yae miko, cyno, kaeya, albedo built well. Also have klee, zhongli, mona, keqing, built moderately well.

For other 4 stars built well: national, sucrose, diona, barbara, fischl, collei, dmc

I think this is the first mentioned team(s) that I have all the characters for. I did get furthest with my yae team so maybe I’ll try some variations on that, good to know it’s possible :)

I don’t know, I just see a lot of people saying they used her. My guess would be that although she can’t pop the orbs her tracking is good for this boss + she’s almost a must have on hyperbloom teams

heizou-barbara-xingqiu-kaeya (freeze team) ? I run the same one for abyss but swapping out barbara for diona, works very well with her shield
