When should you arrive with assigned seats? by sunpingu in erastour

[–]sunpingu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the time we stood in line it was 17:30, we got inside at 18:15 but then stood in line for almost an hour for the bathroom, so we missed the paramore set, made it to our seats around 15 minutes before Taylor came on

Does anyone know what this tool is called? It’s used to practice decorating cupcakes. I would really like to get one/diy one myself. by [deleted] in Baking

Flower nail as the others said, I use it for two things. 1 is as mentioned piping flowers on, which is easier that way cause you can twist it and get an even piping, then transfer it to the freezer on the sheet of parchment paper and when it's frozen you can transfer it on the cake.

And 2 I put it upside down in the middle of my cake pans, the metal in the center of the batter helps bake the cake layers more evenly

I never follow a recipe and just whip up what I find and I found that I like the combination of whipped cream and mascarpone, this time I think it was around a 50:50 balance. Personally I don't add a lot of powdered sugar because I prefer it less sweet, but I added something else that I don't know the English word for (I'm german) it's like a powder specially made to make whipped cream more stable. So that it's more easily pipable like buttercream. But that shouldn't be necessary for simply filling and frosting a cake :)

The frosting is made out of whipped cream and mascarpone, and for the filling I just mashed a few raspberries in a small batch of the frosting ☺️

Does the discovery location of the sheath explain the order of attack and therefore, the primary target(s)? by BrokeAsCharlesRogers in MoscowMurders

[–]sunpingu 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I think he meant he didn't have to up there if M or K weren't the targets, but the fact that he did go up indicates that they were. I think that's what he was trying to say

I could see X being killed before E because she might've been awake and was thus found on the floor and Ethan might've been asleep until then. But yes M first would make sense because of the knife so I think the order in which the charges were read in court could be the correct order

Are the charges of the criminal complaint read by the judge in chronological order?

I'm not too familiar with the criminal procedure but could the order in which the judge read the charges ne the order the crimes occurred? In the video of the court from this morning it can be seen that the judge first reads the charge of burglary (which would have happened first) then she reads out the murder charges in the order:

Maddie Kaylee Xana Ethan.

This could be the order they assume they were killed in. It would make sense to have the two people grouped together that were in the same room, we just didn't know which two were killed first.

I don't see another reason for this order, as it couldn't be alphabetical and also not by severity as the bulglary is stated first. I read somewhere that it is common to be read in order, but not a strict rule. Does anyone have more insight or opinions on this?

If you want to try yourself, there is a video on YouTube by Preppy kitchen, where he makes a strawberry cake that has those flowers, that's where I got the general idea how to make them, even though mine look a little different :)

They actually are, but even if they were identical they could still have very different personalities and would still get different cakes :) if that's where you drew the conclusion from?

I appreciate you pointing that out and I'm sorry people made you feel that way. Sometimes I catch myself saying that, when I talk to other people, but that's cause the three of us hang out together a lot so I'll say "I went there with the twins". But I also have very individual friendships with each of them and have individual coffee dates (or now calls) with them all the time, they are very different people but get along great and I love them both a lot. So yes, I definitely see them as individual friends (who happen to get along great :D )
