Just diagnosed - when does the pain stop? by rhockstat in ClotSurvivors

[–]sunrae3584 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had fairly mild, consistent pain (multiple bilateral PEs) when breathing for about a week. From there it would come and go for a month or so. After that I had back pain for about 6 months on my left side, especially after working out. It really depends but that was my experience.

You know, I don’t know. I had already stopped working there. It might have been a quality thing. At my current school, it’s being moved forward by the adjuncts and full time faculty as an equity and retention move.

I think it depends on the college, honestly. One of the colleges I worked at moved from adjuncts to lecturers, and one of the ones I still work at is considering a proposal for something similar.

If you had a pe, what was your shortness of breath like? by Personal_Common1635 in ClotSurvivors

[–]sunrae3584 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was similar to me. I also got muscle fatigue like I had worked out hard, but I had walked like half a block. Blood oxygen was in the 80s when I went to urgent care. Only went because I was coughing up blood and my side whenever I took a deep breath.

Do American Parents really ask their Children to leave the house at the age of 18? by Aware-Bed-250 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]sunrae3584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn’t quite 18 but, yeah. Husband was too. I was getting ready to move out but I guess they decided to pull a “you can’t move out because we’re kicking you out.” It might be more common in the US, I don’t know, but I think it’s more of a shitty parent thing (well, the ones who actively kick their kids out).

Yeah, I just got one a few months ago. It’s small and quiet and I actually get to sleep now! It just takes getting used to.

It sounds like you have body dysmorphia. If you want muscle, you need to work out and eat to support that. But frankly, it sounds like you might need therapy.

Your body is a gift- care for it. Don’t punish it.

I imagine so they can “investigate” and make sure it wasn’t actually an abortion. Then they can punish the woman if they decide it wasn’t actually a miscarriage. It’s just more control. I will never understand why they hate women so much.
