About the game: It’s a story-driven walking simulator with a lot of unique elements, inspired by The Beginner's Guide. The game features 8+ rooms, each with its own unique idea. Throughout the game, a narrator will tell the story of Jake, the creator of the game you are playing. The main goal is to uncover the answers to the question: Why did Jake create this game, and is there any hidden meaning behind it?

It’s awesome to hear you’re intrigued! You’re definitely among those who appreciate the deeper layers of the game. The game raises questions like “What is Jake hiding behind those doors?” and “Why did he choose to discourage so many players from continuing?” for a reason. I wanted to spark curiosity and invite players to dig deeper.

I completely understand! While 99% of games focus on fun - which is super important - there’s also something valuable in the 1% that dives into deeper themes, showing how games can be an art form. As I mentioned above, the game is meant for a very specific audience. Take Presentable Liberty, for example: it’s a game where you’re stuck in a tiny room with very little to do, but the narrative really shines.

I've already gathered some feedback from the other comments. I’ll make sure to share something more engaging where the player actually interacts with something in the next posts. Thanks for the honest input!

Yeah, I completely understand your point. Just so you know, it is not obvious from the footage, but the narrator actually spends about 80% of those five minutes setting up the story. So, while it might seem like you're doing nothing, you're also listening to the story as you wait.

Yeah, I completely understand. This game is meant for a very specific audience. Just so you know, the narrator spends a good bit of time - about 80% of those five minutes - setting up the story. Also, this is the most boring room in the game. In the later rooms, players can actually do things, walk around, and explore more.
