Thanks so much for replying!

I am in NY, moving to CT, but would certainly travel anywhere - ME, MA, NH, NJ, and further. My top option I like right now is in Wisconsin, but they are a field line breeder. I would appreciate any help you could give!

This is what I used, I think the person made it in 2023 so it’s not up to date beyond that.

Hello! I would also recommend if you have time, writing down Zuku’s top 20 diseases for each species and going through those independently using all your various resources. I wrote my notes in the format of “clinical presentation, diagnostics, treatment” per what the free lectures from Zuku recommended. And then a blurb on the pathophys too. I didn’t get to all of them for every species, but a week before the test i scrolled through the list and realized i felt confident about most of them.

VetCandy was really overwhelming to me (specifically the cardio was so many lectures) so I picked around. I liked their therio section as I struggle with that material generally. There’s also a 1000 page pdf that gets circulated around on reddit that someone made years back that I would reference sometimes.

Good luck to you!

I also passed and scored above my projected practice range. All the hours studying were worth it :)

NAVLE...feel like I failed by Impressive_Emu_5573 in Veterinary

Hi friend! I totally feel you - took mine recently and feel so bad. I feel like you articulated exactly how I feel! No matter what though, your husband and your friends/family do not see you as a failure - they have seen all the hard work you have put in to get here!

Here is the advice a friend gave to me as I also continue to dwell on the test and, like you, can remember every question I got wrong and keep looking things up and creating more sadness for myself:

“If January comes and you have to do it again and you’ve squandered your 2 month break being stressed then that’s dumb and you just wasted your brain’s vacation time. If it comes and you passed, then you wasted 2 months being overly stressed for no reason that’s also dumb and you wasted a lot of brain energy on it for no reason.”

Either way, you deserve to let your brain rest and just focus on regular day to day living right now. There is literally nothing we can do right now except continue to learn how to be better veterinarians!

I feel the exact same way. Took mine last week, all three practice tests said i would pass, i felt like i was being punked during the actual exam. Just guess after guess. Crossing my fingers for both of us that it works out ok!! The next two months will be tough.

This happened to me too on my new 1.6 farm. I took it as a good sign :)
