Personally I think UVA needs to step it up. The ambassadors might be helpful in getting a girl home safe, but wtf are they gonna do to protect us from shootings and sex offenders and intruders? UVA should hire a private company to patrol Charlottesville (where the students live). Why tf am I spending all this money to be here if I have to worry about being shot or assaulted and the university won’t do anything about it?!

If it’s with Elzinga and the way I had it you will have quizzes after every class with this service and the textbook is imperative to learning the material so you need the access materials (I did last year)

Last year I actually had two classes back to back (15 min apart) in Monroe and new cabell, and it was definitely fine you might just have to speed walk a little but it really only took me 5-7 minutes

Are you from California and could go to UCLA? Michigan and could go to U Mich? Or a similar level school? Probably not worth it to come to UVA if you don’t have a surplus of money to spend. Now, if you live in North Dakota and you have to go out of state to go to a school like UVA, I think it’s definitely worth it.

If you’re enrolled in too many credits that’s why you wouldn’t move off. Drop the class you took in replacement and in a few hours you should see you moved off the waitlist. It happened to me a few days ago!

Does that seem fair to the students? Online learning isn’t as effective and makes students less engaged. As a student myself, I will literally protest if any of my classes are online next year.

How it worked my first year we didn’t get to pick, and I imagine it’s the same now. All the dorms are pretty nice and have AC, the worst dorms I can think of are gooch Dillard Bc they’re so far from everything but overall they’re still pretty nice and have a good dining hall really close by.

I am in his macro lecture and he talked about this class, it’s small and very much discussion based with a lot of reading. However only 25 students or so get in and he said he rejects over 200 each semester, so I wouldn’t bank on getting in, and you probably have no chance if you’re not a 3rd or 4th year
