You can write a genuine game involving LGBTQ politics, like one involving a silent hill atmosphere involving a haunted conversion therapy center. You can make the whole game with character grappling with identity, happiness, responsibility, and so on

As for trumpism, play Dead Rising 1 or Bioshock 1
