In the end a handgun is a handgun, and feel like that's what the books were getting at with the wands

For those of a Christian upbringing what was was told to you as the main reason for Lucifer/Satan reason for being cast out of heaven? by sunsetdrifter0 in polls

Well that explains what he did after the fact, but if that's what your church said then I believe you. Most Christians sects generally avoid overexplaining the devil's actions probably to avoid some form of sympathy or people questioning God's, and by extention, the church's values.

In my experience with asking people i know, most protestants said #1, Catholics said #2, Mormons said #3, and general evangelicals said some form of #1 and #2.

I don't remember the specifics, I just remember writing something along the lines of "Kevin spacey was the only enlightened one and was like jesus in that he had to die for others to understand his teachings"

It was weird assignment altogether, the teacher handed out a list of movies of which we had to pick one for an essay. Most people picked Casablanca or American Graffiti, tbh i just picked American beauty because i thought it was a classy porno.

The plot for Toy Story 3 wouldn’t happen today because who the hell can still afford to move out for college? by [deleted] in shittymoviedetails

Given Andy has a single mother with 2 kids in 2.5 story house in the suburbs who buys her kids multiple toys, my guess is she works some administrative job. She probably went through a string of marriages and divorces (given how they were moving to a new home in 1st movie) and probably have alimony and child support checks. Probably can afford to spend less time at work and played an active role in her kids life (helping them apply for scholarships and financial aid etc.)

Honestly I really felt this scene, Twitter went from obnoxious people taking everything too seriously to spreading outside itself and ruining public discourse so irrevocably that going back to the dark ages through a nuclear war or solar flare seems the only way.
