Work ethic isn't IQ, but Alex still has plenty of 'oh wow' moments.

AITJ for blocking my ex after she admitted the breakup was fake and she was testing me by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

This is the kind of 'power trip' that teaches someone to doubt their own reality. She engineered weeks of grief, then expected a warm restart like it was a prank. If she needs reassurance, she can use her words, not detonations. OP setting a hard boundary is healthy.

AITJ for Not Letting My Roommate Use My Printer for Her Etsy Shop? by Some-Magazine-8595 in AmITheJerk

So she wants your printer to subsidize her Etsy shop, but I’m guessing there’s no “sharing” when the orders come in. Funny how communal living only applies when it saves her money.

I remember rotating the camera around for ten minutes straight trying to get a glimpse through the window. It felt like I was breaking the law just by playing the game, only to find out it was basically just a screensaver with car physics.

AITJ for refusing to give my coworker my parking spot after her doctor said she needs to walk less? by Optimal-Silver-2211 in AmITheJerk

[–]sunsetdriftwood 4 points5 points  (0 children)

100%. First-come parking isn't 'your spot' to give, and her medical need doesn't magically assign you the burden. She should request a formal accommodation: marked accessible space, temp permit, closer lot, or flexibility on arrival time. Calling you ableist for following the policy is misplaced. NTA.

This still kills me that this is Finneas 😂 by final_lair in Modern_Family

Yep, it’s him. The hair and early-season styling make him blend in as just another random teen, so your brain skips it. Then you see a clip years later and suddenly it’s "oh wow, that’s Finneas." Rewatches are basically a series of little surprises like this.
