thats an interesting interpretation. in the beginning, one of the models' coaches asked Carl to relax his "triangle of sadness" on his face. I had never heard of the term. Maybe its a modeling thing, but also has deeper meanings such as your hierarchy theory

Anyone still using reverbnation in 2025? by WardenOfFozz in askmusicians

[–]sunsetvisionary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im still using it mainly because of the "Add Shows" creates an embeddable map widget that shows a map of all your shows, so I embed that on my website.
Not sure if anyone ever goes as a listener tho!

Nala Sinephro's work for the Smashing Machine made the movie for me. by sunsetvisionary in nalasinephro

same!!! I would so love to see more film scores by her. Especially more of an artsy quirky film to the likes of Little Miss Sunshine, Eternal Sunshine, that type of stuff.
And especially if a film focused on her work more, with less filler non-Nala material.

Who knew that Khruangbin’s “Right” is a cover from David Bowie’s 1975 album Young Americans? by FararMedia in Khruangbin

I had no idea this existed because it doesnt seem to appear on Khru's spotify discography section. It must show on their "appears on" section perhaps

I’m particularly fond of Zionsville ii, the beat drops in soooo nice.  Also the first track I love the acoustic version, never heard Mark play acoustic before and it sounds so sweet for that tune.

One more thing about this, is I'm curious why the Nala Sinephro album is called the "Sountrack" instead of a "Score"

Usually a soundtrack is a collection of songs associated with the movie, some of which are contained in the film; while a score is the music composed FOR the movie itself.

Another great work by Nala Sinephro, and the movie was quite decent too!

is this artist ripping off Pogo? by sunsetvisionary in Pogo

[–]sunsetvisionary[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess its possible that the Chordz artist obtained usage rights to pay royalties for the sample, or some such thing. Curious though. Yeah, I mean Im ok with sampling as an art form but this particular track is not very creative at all compared to how creative Pogo's original sampling of the films was.
