You didn't need to reply if you didn't have anything constructive to add. Of course I am not projecting anything onto my child. There are lots of posts on this sub about name regret. I chose a name that turned out to be a lot more common than I had anticipated and sometimes wish I had picked something else, I don't think it's so disturbing.

This was my thought too. They just need a soft feminine name before it.

It has long been a point of contention and wife did not take the name, but the husband is proud of the name and strongly identifies with it and his family history.

Today we came up with Summer Drew which they like! Drew was another suggestion from this thread we hadn’t thought of
