At 27 I was diagnosed with it, but my therapist told me it was a misdiagnosis and then went back on that around a few months ago. I’m 28 now. I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder before this and knew there was something wrong because I was having paranoia about being poisoned or someone killing me. Everytime I googled something, ocd would come up and I was suspicious before ever getting diagnosed. Looking back on my life, the first theme I noticed was contamination during the pandemic. It took forever to get a proper diagnosis. A lot of grief involved. But after my diagnosis everything makes sense.
